Weiner is effective because his logic is solid and because he does not play to the fears and stupid convictions of extreme capitalists. He knows his stuff and understands reality. You can't win against solid logic based on facts.
Everyone is agreeing that we need health care reform- whether or not the republicans are sincere is another story, but Obama's problem is the actual legislation. He can't say what this bill is going to look like b/c negotiations are still going on, but he has compromised so much already he is screwed. he gave up too much up front. he needs to know what his bottom line is on health care. from what I hear he is backing down from everything we voted for. public option bottom line
Rep. Anthony Weiner continues to give an informed and very articulate opinion on single payer health care. Why aren't other democrats (especially other house progressives) taking notes from this guy? If this is really the kind of health plan your constituents want, and you're having trouble explaining it clearly, just hear how Weiner's been describing it.

yeah, you're right Ronin2051. Insurance companies pony up to both Reps and Dems, which is why they all want to keep these theives in business.
