  • nahh i get what mikeywido2007 but gl1 over vx no way

  • i don't give a fuck what people say, i would pick the gl over the vx, you just really gotta know what your doin, took me months till i got good colors on my gl but it was worth it...

  • I feel ya man. Takes time.

  • the colors are bad when you dont set them right and the mic kinda blows

  • what settings did u use?

  • I set everything manually, in pretty much every scene it is set different though.

  • thats why im gona get an external firewire port

  • that will work to.

  • can u plug in the gl1 to the computer for video editing?

  • Yes, via firewire, but not all computers have a firewire port.

  • You can buy one though

  • You can buy one though

  • You have to try the JVC GY-DV300 Pro 3-CCD it is AMAZING!! Much better quality! I've worked with many different prosumers and this is the winner in my books. FYI

  • I will defineitly look into it, but at the moment I am trying to extend into photography aswell.

  • Gl1 or vx2000

  • Gl1 is more comfy to film with in my opinion because it has a button to start/stop recording on the handle.

The Vx2000 has better color aspect and such, but it isnt as comfortable and doesnt have that button.

It really just depends on your preferences here.

  • arent gl1's have alot of glitching????

    and would u rather pick a gl1.gl2 or a vx2000?

  • Unfourtunatley they do glitch, but it isnt bad usually, unless you drop yours like I dropped mine in ATL.

Canons are generally mopre comfortable but Sonys have better color aspect and such.

  • does this have playback?

  • Yes, It does.

  • does the canon gl1 have a lgiht for when its dark?

  • no, it doesnt.

but it works really well at night with out a light, but it makes things a little red if you dont set the shutterspeed and appature just right.

it does have a boot to slide a light into on the handle, and you can get a pretty descent light for around 30 to 50 bucks.

  • fuck pinical dosent work with gl1's? cuz that what i use and im going to get a firewire cable today

  • I deleted it and then re downloaded it and it was fine, it shouldnt give you any problems.

  • o alright thanks

  • Thank you . I wanted to see how the camera held up....love the city lights shot !

  • The shot originaly panned across all of Birmingham, but Pinacle has been dropping frames in alot of my clips and I havent been able to get a legit video done yet.
