  • I saw Sunday All Over The World at the old International Club in Manchester. They stuck posters up all over the place saying No photographs! NO smoking! It was an excellent gig & I got Toyah to autograph one of her singles for me a fterwards. She was really sweet!

  • such a pity we don't have more live video footage (and better quality than this) from this amazing Fripp project...

    but thanks anyway !

  • I read a comment that informs us that R. Fripp is very happy; and I think that's great to hear, for all he has done for rock music, and fans thereof...As for this piece, quite interesting, as one might expect: somewhat like Philip Glass (?)...But I'm thinking.... before Robert decides finally to retire might it not be a nice idea to do one final tour?

It would be great to hear some of the old Crimso songs again; along with his great new work.

  • Always loved this formation. A shame it was short lived. Let's see if "The Humans" are up to it :)-

  • I really thought this band was hot., this band and ten seconds I was keen on seen waving the crimson flag in the nineties.

  • I saw them play in Salisbury,England. One of their first gigs.

I have a ticket to see the Humans with Robert Fripp on guitar!!

  • A fairly young Trey Gunn there, I think.

  • yes and a much more original musician than fripp. thank god he's left crimson behind- it was belews baby anyway !

  • Trey Gunn is who he is in no small part because of Fripp. Gunn learned guitar playing from Fripp, and Fripp is the one who insisted that he abandon the guitar for the Chapman Stick.

As for KC, I agree that Belew brought lots of ideas to the table but, from what I've read, the band was always very collaborative, and used working methods developed, very early on, by Fripp.

  • @arundel213 I will choose to think that You are likely just very mis-informed as opposed to being an Idiot. Belews baby? Nevermind...

  • Was at a few Fripp Fripp, Sunday All Over The World gigs.

I must admit I gave up buying the Toyah albums a fair time back.

If the two did not have such full individual diaries then something pretty special might develop. The Yin and Yang of it all could surely be harnessed by Robert.

I am surprised, what with technology the way it is, that it hasn't conceived more.

  • I really liked Sunday All Over The World. Better than Thrak-era Crimson IMO.

  • O.o

  • a greta moment! I saw 'em in Montpellier...but just OMG 20people to see them :(

  • I saw them in Hamburg. Fripp seated with a frozen smile, while Toyah would jump all over the stage. The show was announced as "Fripp, Fripp". Fantastic.

  • thanks 4 putting this on utube necronomicon just love toyah

  • I really liked this album alot! Can't really see it but that is Trey gunn as well :)

  • Toyah reminded me of a more serious sounding Kate Bush. An interesting band and an interesting experiment.

  • Fripp & Fripp or perhaps

    Toyah & Bobby

A great little band and a great little CD!!!

  • Astounding that this is even available. Thanks for posting it!

  • ese es un disco que te para la pija

  • excelent music...

i miss this band too much.

  • their marriage is their business, I find it touching how devoted he is

  • I saw their gig in London. Good powerful music. It was genuinely delightful to see Toyah skipping around Fripp like a happy little girl. He, although unseated by passion, remained on his stool like the music pro he is.

  • I knew that Fripp had been linked with Danielle Dax of the Lemon Kittens at one time...I saw some You Tube footage of a British panel show with Toyah, she seems to be quite lively...very much the personality..it does seem to be a contrast with Robert Fripp but I read his diary online and he appears VERY happy..

  • I've see them live In Utrecht, Holland. The band was great. Fripp fantastic as ever. A young Trey Gunn with very long hair playing super on his stick. Paul Beavis was a very straight drummer and....Toyah. Not a super voice, especially live, but on cd she sounds ok.

  • Anyway, there is young Trey Gunn there. Love to see it. Crimso is there too.

  • Have any of you people writing all this crap had any success in the music business? Toyah is an original, yes she has a speech impediment yes she has had surgery so what! she has also been out there and done it and made it, she is a fantastic performer and nobody can take that away from her, in the late 70's and early 80's she was a true original. And as for her mariage why are people so judgemental she has been married to the guy for over 20 years, sounds like a success to me.

  • Sunday all over the World did record a live cd but this as never to this day got released..

  • Could be quite good, but terrible audio quality. The drums are almost inaudible.

  • I've loved this album since it came out in 91. I wish I'd had the chance to see this tour.

  • Victoriangent did you know Toyah n Robert have bin married (to each other) nearly 25 yrs now....

  • Which astonishes me. Fripp and Wilcox are two COMPLETE OPPOSITES.

On one hand, Fripp is a modest, introverted and quiet guy.

Toyah is superficial. She LOVES plastic surgery. She always tries to look like a 20 year old girl by the way she always customizes her appearance. And, she's loud.

    I guess opposites do attract.

  • Victoriangent: you are an idiot

  • you need a fucking life!!!!

  • forgot to mention, read her autobiograhy, he made the move on her u stoopid bint

  • GREAT album. Sucky video. Thanks for the attempt, though.

  • I thought that was a fortunate team (and I dont usually like Willcox). Pitty it didnt last longer or that no pro videos are available. Thanks for the posting

  • vocals-Toyah Willcox

    guitar-Robert Fripp

    stick,vocals-Trey Gunn

    drums,percussion-Paul Beavis

the album is called "Kneeling at the Shrine" by "Sunday all over the World"

  • It's actually Trey Gunn not Tony Levin.

  • Is that T-Lev?

  • Yep.

  • No, that is Trey Gunn....in his early years. I've seen them live in Utrecht, Netherlands
