Using Antabuse to help Treat Alcohol Abuse

I used it! It worked for me! It removes the decision making process from a person who cannot say no to alcohol-

For me, this drug saved my life. It allowed me the time to establish a new routine. It allowed me to not have to anguish over weather or not I would drink; the answer was just, NO. Very simple & a decision I wasn't able to make for myself at the time. I took it every morning like my life depended on it, for 4 months. I"m all on my own now, 2 1/2 years sober & I no longer need medicine

@charlinaj2007 On the same track. Thanks it's very cool to hear your results! Did you pre-plan to stop after 4 months or how/when did you decide when it was time to take off thre training wheels and stop taking antabuse?

I have been on Antabuse for 2 months now and think it is a great preventative to drink, As i know that if i stop taking it because i want a drink then i will still have to stay away from booze for up to 5 days anyhow! Just 1 pill in the morning helps me the non trust in myself ! Many thanks Antabuse!!
