It was a sad day when William Lee left the Oaks and a day of rejoicing when he returned. These are the real Oak Ridge Boys. I thought it was a really nice touch to sing this song where William Lee sings the lead further solidifying his return.

I saw them in concert in Mt. Vernon Ohio around 1989 or so and they sang this song "Trying To Love Two Women" but first the dedicated it to President Clinton who had been involved with the Monica Lowinski affair. The crowd roared with laughter when the song began.

The Wikipedia entry is incorrect. It was New Years, 1996, that Golden returned. Steve Sanders, who had been singing baritone with the Oaks, left the group in October 1995.

Great memories...I was a freshman in college, and my dad called and told me that William Lee was back and on TV. I taped it and watched it several times that night. By the way, I saw William Lee and his family at Rafferty's today in Goodlettsville, TN.
