  • so glad i came across your video. i just grabbed the cheapest shampoo + conditioner that has SULFATE and my color (purple) is totally faded over the month that i dyed it. totally disapointed which i will complain about the shampoo and want my 3$ back. :) haha!

  • sounds like your cat is in heat XD

  • Thank u for the showering tip (: I use like steaming hot water and i was wondering why it was stripping out so fast, so thank you(: does suck but worth it

  • @babykitten550 Yeah I love really hot showers too. Sometimes I just wash my hair over the bath, with really cold water, and then I put it up and take a steaming hot shower. :)

  • @Catastr0phicM1nd thats a really good idea! I think i'll have to try that out (=

  • I got the products you recommended.. AMAZING :] haha I washed it again & it's great. New hair makes me feel fantastic too!

  • Thank you! :) I will probably get Hair One then. I washed it & it looks the same, thankfully. I've never liked my hair this much. :DD

  • @memoryfoam4squns Yeah the first wash usually doesn't do that much "damage". It's the second and third day in a row that really strip the color. Let me know how it works out for you! And that's great that you like your hair. New hair always makes me feel good. :)

  • Wait, I just got my hair done at a beauty school. I got dark brown (that's like suuuper close to black) & peekaboo red red highlights. This was on Thursday, 2 days ago. (or 3 since it's 2:21am). I have Dove Color Treated Shampoo & Conditioner. :D should I wash it on Sunday (today 2:21am) or Monday morning/afternoon?? Please & thank you.. :) PS: I LOVE your hair colors.

  • @memoryfoam4squns It doesn't really matter what day you wash it. Just pick a day and start a cycle of only washing it two to three times a week max if you don't want the red to fade. With dark colors like brown and black, you can pretty much get away with washing your hair as often as you'd like (even though it's not great to wash it everyday) and it won't strip the color. When I had all black hair it never really faded, the roots just grew in. Dove Conditioner is really great, but I'd stay

  • @memoryfoam4squns away from shampoo. Even "color treated" can mess with it. I like the shampoo I mentioned in my video, but that was before I discovered Hair One. That is the greatest cleansing conditioner I've ever used. Also, get a dry shampoo to take care of your hair on days that you don't want to wash it. And thanks, my hair is bright red now. :P

  • Wit Woooo love your hair! x

  • @13cloudmely What type of Tresseme is it? If it's shampoo, it will strip the color from your hair. The only type of shampoo that won't is a sulfate free one.

  • wat if yuh have hhmm Tresame or something like that shappoo , does that one work ??

  • Manic panic has been the best hair color like I tried lots of different dyes and it turned out the best so ive layed off the bleached for a while and just re dye it with the same color when it fades

  • @Darkreign111595 I can't use Manic Panic anymore. It killed my hair. Special Effects and Directions are the two best dyes I've used. I love them. They don't bleed all over the shower, and they don't damage your hair like Manic Panic does.

  • I just dyed my hair pink for national breast cancer awareness month but it was turquoise before that and I can not stress enough the importance of taking care of ur hair because I didn't use to but when I bleached away the turquoise certain parts just like turned to jelly like and literally just fell out I was freaking out

  • i got told that if you bleach your hair and for an example use manic panic purple haze and it really fades you don't have to bleach it again but just use purple haze again on the faded hair? true?

  • @EvilTeddyy Yes that's true. The only time you have to use bleach again is on your roots, if you choose. I rebleach my roots when I am ready to dye my hair again. If you need a bit of a color touch up, you can also mix some of your semi-permanent dye into your conditioner, and leave in it your hair for about 20 minutes and rinse out.

  • beth you are so gay lol. this is lauren btwq

  • ahhhhhhh

    love ur hair

i had purple hair b4 but i had exstentions... when i wanted 2 actually dye mine purple i couldnt because of my job.. lol funny cat sounds in the backgrounds... this is good advice i dont even want to bleach my hair but urs looks so good and the colors i want i might just have to suck up and do it...

  • @GigglezJuicy2010 Yeah, I understand the job thing. My boyfriend is my boss, so I pretty much get away with that. :P And yes, my cat never shuts up!! And I'm going to take a break from bleaching and dying for a while, and go back to black. I'm thinking of buying some extensions and using the color that way. Believe it or not, the Manic Panic wrecked my hair more than the bleach!

  • @Catastr0phicM1nd

    thats good to know!!

and ugh your lucky thats why im going to school for what i am, hehe im get to be my own boss (evil laugh)

but i choose not to dye my hair this time i got my hair done i think i'll wait it out again.. maybe wait till im going to start college and start brand new : )

  • Thanks Eric. :)

  • Your hair is kind of awesome = )
