Well yes, anything more than three steps is the "walk of shame" but it was the first landing. :^p The motor is the AXI 2217/9D + PG3 gearbox. The wires actually stay against the inside of the fuselage and do not rub. I was prepared to drill two holes in the fuselage and tie the wires off, but it hasn't been needed.
Thanks, im looking at a few setups, all giving about the same moderate performance which is what i want. nice to here the motor went in without much hassle, i was almost committed to getting an inrunner because of that worry.
nice landing at the end, but you should really be able to just bend down to pick it up, not walk all that way lol joke.
how the hell did you get an axi motor all the way down the nose without getting the wires rubbing on the motor? is it an axi 2826/8?
