There's talk that Mike De Kock's brilliant race-mare from South Africa, River Jetez, may be pointed toward the 2011 Beverly D.? She's won the Balanchine at Meydan, and was also 2nd to Presvis in the Duty Free. She just recently finished 2nd to Gitano Hernando in the G1 Singapore Airlines International Cup. River Jetez has taken it right to the boys in Dubai, Hong Kong, and Singapore in 2011. She'd be difficult to beat in this race, IMO. If I'm De Kock, I enter her in the Million. JMO.
Eclair De Lune ran well against Tuscan Evening(RIP) back in July for a 2nd place finish in the Modesty Handicap here at Arlington. Then comes back off the heals of that run to win the Beverly D. Stakes at Arlington in August. This mare may be coming into her best form at the right time with the Breeders Cup F&M Turf lurking right around the corner? But I think she's still got a bit to find with Midday. Considering Midday has won 3 straight G1's in Europe.

My hunch play of the day worked out!! Got the double of this race and the Arlington Million. Did anyone else connect the names of the winners as I did?? Look at the name of the Beverly D. winner and the Million winner. Saw it yesterday, wound up my hunch play, and it paid off!! Great Race!!
