  • whats the procedure when applying the spray one? I bought one but I dont know if it requires any kind of primer. my brakes are brembos but the original painting is in pretty bad shape so I dont know if I should get something to take it off first of if I can just spray over the old one.

  • @ricardonemez You need to remove all flaking paint or any new paint you apply over it will flake as well. You will have to chip it all off or use paint stripper. Then make sure the caliper is clean. Spraying it several times with brake cleaner works nicely. You don't need a primer when using our Caliper Paint.

  • @duplicolortv any paint stripper youd recommend? thanks, your help is much appreciated

  • Going to buy this, thanks.

  • blue paint eh? wow

  • Do you ahve to do any kind of sanding?

  • Oh, come on! you said you were going to use BLUE paint!! Where is it at? I do not see it! I need to see how good the finish looks with blue paint.

  • Why would you use a clean, new vehicle to demonstrate this on? Do you think most of your customers will be using your product on brand new calipers? Does a demonstration of how to croperly clean the calipers first not seem important or relevant to your company? Perhaps a bit more effort into making a helpful video, rather than one more concerned with selling the product better would be in order.

  • ummm...i thought he was going to use blue paint. lol.

  • Re-coat windows apply to enamel paints and refers to the time period during which a second coat maybe applied. After spraying the first coat of an enamel, a second coat must be applied with in 1 -- 2 hours or wait 5 days for the coating to cure. The paint may wrinkle or lift when resprayed during this curing period. Lacquers do not have a "re-coat window." Subsequent coats of Lacquer can be applied over a Lacquer finish without wrinkling or lifting due to a "re-coat window".

  • if i paint my intake manifold with engine enamel and i do all of my coats how long do i have to wait for it all to cure?

  • Can someone elaborate on what he meant when he was talking about doing 3 coats within an hour or waiting 7 days for another coat? He confused me on that.
