I would appreciate it if you would help me out. I've been spiking my hair for a while. I do my own tapers. I want to train my hair flat also. How long does this take and what should I do sense I keep my hair about a 6 to an 8 nothing more.

@i7vSa7vi7y Its probably different for some people with different hair (i'm italian so my hair is heavy as it is) but I found that if i use a VERY small amount of product cream (like american crew fiber) and work it in before you put a beanie on it helps keep it flat, but you can't use too much.

This is a good technique to flatten your hair...im mexican..but i got that porcupine hair...I am using this technique now..but when im home or when i go to sleep..i put a wave cap over my beanie..the wave cap really tightens the beanie to your head and u wont wake up with that big line across ure forehead..and it prevents the beanie from falling off ure head while ure sleeping.....good video

@No3LiT0 hey man when you train it for a while does it stay down permanently even after showers and shit? I've never tried training it everyday but if I wear a beanie for one day itll stay down but after I shower shit goes back up...

@TUBESTEAKNIG dont shower with cold water..when i shower with cold water it spikes up so i usually shower with hot but not to hot..then i dry my hair carefully with my towel putting it on my head and sliding it down wards the direction my hair is going..after a shower it usually spikes up a little but not completely..it sort of spikes in a downword way..but right after it dries u should put the beanie back on..ive only been doing this for like a month my hair's been lasting longer staying flat
