The name Killer Whale is not from Killer whales killing people. The killer whale is the top predetor of the ocean and can kill any marine animal possible. There has not been one reported attack of a killer whale killing, or injurying someone in the wild. They only "attack" people in Sea World because they are stressed and most likely they do not mean to kill people in sea world... they think they are playing. Killer Whales are like dolphins. in no means would they want to hurt someone.

A killer whale killed someone.......SHOCKING! I really don't get why these whales are being put in these little theme parks, when they should be out in the ocean. Basically I say if you wanna go swimming or hangout with some wild and deadly animal, then that's your business, but if you die in the process then don't go blaming the animals for doing what they do.

actually Sea World Changed their names, in the olden days they used to be called Whale Killers because that is what the whalers in the 17th and 18th century noticed they would always do. It was good for them because all the Killer Whale wanted was the whales tongue to eat and he left the rest of the body for the whalers
