this movie has no fiction or stupid fictive monsters in it, and the double personality voice is creepy..anyone saying this movie sucks should stop watching horror and hit the road...yes meet the hero...thats you.
Session 9 is a Psych horror film.. It isn't supposed to be all about blood and gore, violence and machine guns like other movies are nowadays. This movie is about the horrors of mental illness and demon possession inside a creepy mental hospital.
@shellymorrison Honestly, despite all the horrible shite that happens to all the other characters, it is THAT LINE that gives me the chills every time. Simon can be in anyone, anyplace-hiding-and you'd never know. *shudder*
Looked at it all ways and the director's commentary suggest simon is a roman "protector spirit," of the asylum. Which is purposefully confusing, but we understand that logic don't we? This was a low budget movie. The ambiguity turns this C movie into a B + and you make up the ending for yourself. But simon says "hello" to George in like the first scene in the movie when they go in. Simon clearly is responsible as a spirit, not just him being crazy. There is no definitive answer from the director
@dfranco1337 I heard that "Simon" was a type of "protective spirit" of sorts... Not so much a demon. And something about the different voices representing the different characters in the film metaphorically.
@MeetTheHero Going by you're amazingly shit taste in music & I can only imagine your so called fav films are also the same. I personally feel you have no judgement on what makes a good film or not !!! I mean c'mon do you really expect peps to take you seriously what you say when you're listen to the likes of James Blunt, Ronan Keating & Westlife, LOL !!!
The ghuy who went loony was in the second to last Harry Potter movie. And, this was one creepy ass movie.

"Sir, I saw the ghost of a dead woman, she had semen on her hair !"
"Well it seems" (puts on sunglasses)

A very underrated movie, in my opinion. Also has one of the best endings.
"And where do you live, Simon?"
"I live... in weak... and the wounded... Doc."
Creepy.
