  • Where i can downloaded the "GAME" ?

i want play the "DEMO" ...

  • Havok is available for Wii U, I would like to see Wii U physic based puzzle games like Boom Blox or just a cool sandbox game. 60 fps true FullHD and this quality of physics could be amazing.

Maybe something like Armadillo Run with 2D and 3D gameplay. Try Armadillo Run, this game is really a great showpiece for physics gameplay.

  • @havokchannel

Thanks! sure it has amazing destruction. I will download the PDF now.

  • I have 2 questions...Did the frosbite engine used Havok physics?

And does it the deformation applies to ground, vehicles or anything you want?

  • @V12Style That Frostbite Engine does have excellent Destruction, doesn't it? There are lots of applications of Havok Destruction for fully destructible objects or deformation. Check out the Havok Destruction page in the "Products" section of our web site. There's a downloadable product brochure PDF that has in-depth information about how it applies in many scenarios!

  • That's awesome!

  • @TeamNTgriefing Thanks! We think it's awesome that you appreciate our software :)

  • @havokchannel Is there anyway to get a simpler software, not for animations or stuff like that, but for fun. Like creating giant buildings and then destroying them! Or is this just professional software?

  • @TeamNTgriefing I think you are looking for a modeling tool like 3ds Max/Maya, or maybe an out-of-the-box level designer. Havok offers professional grade solutions to be used for full-scale game development projects. For more information about who specifically can benefit from our products, check out the "Solutions" section of our web site!

  • This would be epic for destruction in an FPS shooter like BF3. Not COD cause it has no unscripted destruction except windows

  • @Eccy619 BF3 does have some pretty sweet Destruction in it, doesn't it? It was nice to see a major FPS take destructible terrain so seriously, and incorporate it so believably in their gameplay mechanics.

  • Does Havok Destruction support dynamic meshes that are generated at run-time?

  • @RickCastrate Simple answer: Yes! Complicated answer, check out our Havok Destruction page on our web site!

  • @havokchannel Thanks for the answer, I've been looking at Havok for physics, destruction, AI, etc. and that is a nice reassurance :)

  • @RickCastrate No problem! Best of luck with your project! Just so you know, Havok Physics and Havok Animation are available as a free binary download if you're looking at working on some personal projects. All the information about it is located in the "Sales" section of our web site!

  • does havok has any artists or designers in their company and is that level downloadable like play for free

  • @Boryspitzanzx Havok has all kinds of creative, talented employees. However, Havok is not a video game developer and does not create games in house. For more information on the products and services that Havok offers, please check out our web site!

  • This is Awesome. Enough Said. Havok Software FTW.

  • I really LOVED the deformation at 0:46

I wish more games used this engine at its full potential!

  • Woooow, havok. This looks so realistic and good-looking I think I need a new pair of pants.

  • Any way we can get a hold of the tech demo? Looks fun!

  • havok is so awesome, but no game uses it full ressources :(

  • @MrScreamCream Have you played Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine? That used a wide range of Havok products, and very effectively! It was especially nice to see how many Orks could appear on screen at once thanks to Havok Animation and Havok Behavior. For more information check out the "Customer Projects" page in the "Company" section of the Havok web site!

  • Half Life 3, hopefully.

  • Wow.

I wish more games would use Havok.

  • Where can I find out how to use this? Are there any demos I could just load up? I love the Havok physics engine and I want to know where I can get stuff to test it out on! (Any download site where I can just download scenes would be excellent, but a way to find out how to use the tool more thoroughly along with that would be wonderful :P)

  • so havok is the engine for the enviorment and euphoria is for character models and stuff like that

  • Does this cost money to get or can I create... Lets say a brick. That brick can break in several different ways. Then I creat wood. planks and such. I then go into Havok and make break areas on the objects and build a home with it. Wood supports, brick walls. then it can be broke when force is applied?

  • @cory18011801 Thanks for your interest in Havok products! Havok Destruction does have a license fee. However, Havok Physics and Havok Animation are available at a no-cost binary download for private PC development. Many things are possible with Havok Destruction, including deformation, fracture, etc.and you can find out more by visiting Havok dot com!

  • @havokchannel Hey there, This program looks nice all though I just turned 11 but can you use maps already made by your program? And 1 more question how much is this program? Thanks for your time.

  • @TheGraffitial3x Hello there, and happy birthday! Thank you for your interest in our products. However, it sounds like you're looking for an out-of-the-box level editor, not a professional-grade software solution like Havok offers for full video game development. Best of luck on your project!

  • @havokchannel Thanks.

  • I Have One Question About The WHOLE Havok Engine... When I Download This Engine... Will I Be Able To Make An FPS That Has You Holding A Gun Instead Of Shooting Balls Of Steel?

  • @mkobrien49 You might have our engine confused with something like a level editor. Our Physics, Destruction and other middleware products are used to enhance these specific elements of game assets. Destruction, for example, will make the building YOU create fracture, break, or deform in realistic ways. As for what is possible with the integration of Havok products? Well, that depends on your own abilities as an artist, animator, programmer, or designer!

  • @havokchannel I what it bad :O where can i get it ?

  • amazing stuff, how come no one has made a game when you invade a castle and really show of the awesome technology we have today?

  • I wonder why this technology wasn't used in big games from EA and Ubisoft !!

  • @aboumar You will find our technology used in almost all major game publishers ;-) For a complete list of Havok-powered titles, check out the "Available Games" section of our website! You might be surprised.

  • I found curious how many physics/gaming engines claim to have some uber-realistic features and super-simulation techniques and end up looking just barely like this demo.

  • @ElMrGman Our demos exemplify destructible and deformable objects. Often times our customers that use Havok Destruction go all out though, and that is part of what let's them stand apart from the rest!

  • Would this be able to be used in mod making for a game that runs on the Source engine? Such as Half Life 2 or Portal? If not, what can?

  • @NatPJ1 Havok can be integrated into the Source Engine. In fact, Havok is proudly powering the Physics of Half Life 2 and Portal.

  • Hi there guys and girls @ havok. I was just wondering does the building destruction use ideas from the frostbyte engine cuz it looked alot similar!!

  • @DoWieFX Our technology is strictly mathematically physics based, so ideas for artwork are all secondary to the core of what makes Havok Destruction great.

  • Hm.... How do you make the object breakable? I always try to make a polygon, and then apply wooden desturction, or jsut an ydestruction to it, and it says something about hkdshape. Help

  • Seriously, sorry for ALL these questions, i think they're a little bit dumb, but.... Does the maya plugin include the previewer? (The one where you can throw balls to destroy things?)

  • @santiainen Thanks again for your interest in Havok software (no question is a dumb question!) For all the information available on Havok Destruction please visit the Havok Destruction product page at Havok dot com! There is additional in-depth literature available in the "Resources" section of that page.

  • @Ivergeorge Thank you for your interest. Please refer to the Try Havok section of our website if you're interested in licensing our software. Thank you!

  • Oh and could you have these GDC 2010 demos in the SDK?

  • @santiainen The demos are examples of how our software can appear in real time. Please refer to our website for more information about licensing Havok software. Thank you!

  • @havokchannel sorry if this is a wrong place to ask but... Can i jsut make a model in maya, start up the umm..... Havok Standalone and add destruction or such? Or does teh free one support destruction? I heard it only supports normal physics, but not destruction...

  • @santiainen Thank you for your enthusiasm! The no-charge download for the PC includes SDK libraries, samples, and technical documentation for software developers; as well as Havok’s Content Tools for preparation and export of physical assets and characters directly from the most recent versions of Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, and Softimage 3D modeling and animation tools. I hope this answers your question but please check the "Try Havok" section of our Web site for more information.

  • Hey, is there going to be any version for indie game developers? We would LOVE something like this for our games. Maybe a version with a small price like 500-1000? Or a totally free one? Please repsond :D

  • please give me a link i can't find :S

  • @tomkrecs

For more information, please visit our website! Havok (dot) com!

  • Is Havok only a physics engine or can i also create and model enviroments and characters with this? your help would be appreciated cause i want to study these kind of things excuse my english i´m mexican

  • @jmiuit

Havok provides software for physics, animation and ai to game developers but doesn't make games in-house. Havok's products do not include modeling solutions - Havok customers typically use applications like 3ds Max, Maya and Softimage to create their environments and characters.

  • Where can i download ?

  • @heisenfeis

On our website, there is a page called "Try Havok" - Here you can find the Intel-sponsored Havok PC download. It is a binary-only bundle that includes all of the standard features and functionality of both the Havok™ Physics and Havok™ Animation products.

  • Love the train,

  • @TheJalmac

Thank you! The train demo is definitely one of our favorites.

  • Imagine this in an FPS

  • @sleepincat its called half life 2 XD

  • @sonicspeedx13

There are quite a few FPS that take advantage of Havok middleware. The Halo sequels, Killzone 2, Bioshock 2, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, and Red Faction: Guerrilla to name a few.

  • @sleepincat It is in an fps, at the website of havok u'll see what game it is
