This is such a romantic song. I love how smooth and creamy his voice is on the verses. I wonder if he know how beautiful his voice truly was. And these lyrics? It's genius - because you can just see guys mouthing the words to this to a cute girl in the club. Perfect dancing record - when he sings "Glow", the girls would do it!

this song was so underrated. it was a comeback song that didnt enough attention, but man it's a great great Rick James classic. i would put it on his greatest hits list for sure.

And the industry (Illuminati) created the counterfeit Teena - which was Madonna. Then the industry shut out Teena by making a competition between Madonna and Cyndi Lauper.

What an awesome way to remember him, great picture! I was barely a teenager when he was touring & my parents didn't understand why there 12-13 white daughter from Kentucky wanted to go see RICK JAMES! LOL! I can still sing along with all his songs, but barely remember what happened last month. RIP King of Punk Funk, my music collection would have been nothing without you in it!

A month later he was in Philly with the Barkays and since I knew Val Young we stayed at the same Hotel with them and got to hang out with them. I remember back in 1997, I was driving from Atlanta to St. Louis. I was up in those smokey mountains in Chattanooga, at like 2:00 am. Real scary hills, drops and turns! Thanks for posting this. I haven't heard the complete version of this song in so many years. I had it on 12" vinyl, too. I remember buying it at Woolworth's in downtown Tampa (long-gone now) Nice pic.
