Violence against women is hugely a problem in countries that have an access of every kind of food you can think of - countries like America, Japan, Europe, etc. Violence against women stems from a plethora of different reasons including mysogenistic attitudes from yesteryear, violent pornography, the push of the male image as "gay" if he treats women well, etc. To say it relates at all to food is such an insult to people's intelligence, it astounds me.
