i must say, that seems boring to look at, also that it was in daylight, i was at the U2 360 tour, maybe u2 didn't have a robot, but it was dark and the stage was insane, also the light show was beautiful..
Im a HUGE U2 fan so i not biased....but how is this 'boring'?? - its a GREAT performance and great visuals. I agree, U2 concerts are a spectacle, but the big difference here is that Take That almost do something different for each song visual wise, whereas yes U2 has a geat visual stage, but its the same each song (other than the change in lighting etc) Take That actually do different things for each song...dancers,the robots, the flood water etc etc.
Also, it was middle of summer in an open air venue....of course its going to be light. What do you expect them to do? - start the concert at 10:30 and let it go on till 2 in the morning?
Great video quality and great take...but i must say this performance was spoilt by Robbie. Not only did he forget the words of his own bands song - he also ad libbed in parts and made it very unprofessional. I bet Gary was fuming!!
@spenspuma agreed itt's not great, but you can tell iti was an accident, and he laughs it off and plays to the crowd with it instead of just trying to cover it up :)
The big question is...what night will they release on DVD cos they filmed it in Wembley when I was there on 1st July but also lot of other venues!!!???
Awww I went here on the 12th June and they had technical difficulties with this song...the rain didn't start and one of the yellow lines went crooked so the dancers had to go off the stage and the lifts didnt come down :/ it was still an amazing show though :) xx
@iloveAlphabeat I was there on the 12th too! They went up and had the harnesses on then didn't do anything :) It was still the best concert i've ever been to though!
I was sitting to the side (at Sunderland ) and completely missed the lads coming down in the pods when robbie jumped. So cool. I also did not see "progress" men very well. Thanks for the video.

i'd prefer to see a band live and have the singers ad lib occasionally, mix it up.
if i wanted to hear the cd version, i'd stay home listening to the cd.

It's not a big Robbie performance unless he's upside down (a la Knebworth)
