Pyramid Head is often tossed in as a punisher for the protagonists in a lot of Silent Hill stories, it's not just for James anymore. The town is an unknown, powerful, and evolving entity, who's to say that it can't continue using him to punish others as it punished James?
See the way I see it why Pyramid Head is in Silent HIll is the fact of because of James in 2 with having PH his own personal demon and personification of guilt, Silent Hill itself took the form of Pyramid Head for future torments due to loving the evil that James brought out of the town.
Therefore meaning Silent Hill made PH Silent Hills and not James's anymore.

I read something good: In the bad endings of SH, the protagonists became what they tried to supress the most: Heather gets possessed by her Alessa-half, Travis turns into the Butcher Man because he succumbed to the anger and rage as result of his parents' abuse, and finally Alex, who didn't kill his mother out of mercy, didn't forgive his father and didn't save Wheeler turned into a Boogeyman/Pyramid Head, the punisher. Alex became the punisher who handed judgement to them. Does this make sense?

Alex Shepherd managed to transform from a complete wuss to an ultimate bad as mofo in a couple of seconds. Probably the best ending for this game. His dad would be really proud.

This ending is very fitting based on the decisions made to get it. Alex wishes those that caused him pain in his life to suffer for their sins, i.e. mom and dad for ignoring him and giving all their love and attention to Josh. He therefore would make an excellent Bogeyman

@Sephiroth174 In my opinion, Big Daddy would win. Since he has an armor and Pyramid Head does not. (Only a helmet) Big Daddy could drill right through Pyramid Head.
