  • I love Slash's voice. Calms me down.

  • LOL Here is Phil *Starts asking question

    Axl: Hey Phil, Fuck You!

  • that line is not funny at all.

  • i love nine inch nails... but axl was trying way too hard to sound like them back then,

  • Im going to send away for that calender :P

Prob get delivered to some abandoned building block.

  • planning a tour ? were aiming at 96.

    wow thats a statement.

  • a HUGE statement, Joey

  • i know! they couldve set 2 years to record and release a follow up (chinese democracy) and do another tour in 96, THAT WAS DOABLE!!!!! godamn, what happened :(

  • ya it was supposed to be the skin and bones tour right?

  • yeah, ha ha ha. Thats why Def Karaoke Jam wrote the song called "Axl Rose"

  • i love the "don;t love me, people that do usually cost me law suits" line

  • its remarkable that axl and slash werent getting along because they just seem so at ease with each other. laughing and talking naturally.

  • I was watching a different interview on here with axl and he was saying he could never continue with gnr with different people but Im glad he did.

  • that was famous last words interview.

  • me too. Chi Dem is a very solid album. ive missed axl A LOT.

  • he said they were hoping to work with brian may later on, turns out he did on catcher in the rye, but then he scrapped the solo anyway, =/

  • Part 2 - Axl: "I'm working on a top secret project" - Chinese Democracy?

    ...that's kind of sad :/

  • i think that was actually a solo album. Slash alluded to that in an interview where he said Axl had this grand vision of doing a solo album with guys he didn't know like dave grohl who was in nirvana at that time. Personally I think Chidem is an okay album, but to me it's not a GNR album.

  • I say it's more horribly ironic then funny

  • Funny that Axl ended up rejecting Slash's tape completely

  • Yes because it didn't sound enough like NIN.

  • according to axl, he didnt do that. he only wanted to work with those basic tracks and add more to them to make them GNR style but slash didnt want any changes. according to classic rock magazine, both axl and duff thought that slash's tape (which became the 1st snakepit record) wasnt right for GNR in its current shape, gilby and slash thought that it was right.

  • yeah, apparently axl hated snakepit. But from the different

  • actualy slsh's bes friend marc canter has said that axl wanted to do a few songs from what became the snakepit record but slash didnt wait.

CD is as GNR as axl could possibly mke it. the others quit. there's not much in the way of good rock music out there and im glad to have GNR back even if its in a changed form.
