i had my 4 15's blastin this when it came out. lawl. i pissed off da neighbors, comin over sayin, your shakin tha pictures off my walls asshole, lawl!
the 2 dislikes are probably from those wack ass tablist who thought MAGIC MIKE was some white dude who crabs and orbs all over his records without any rhythm!
Allz I hav to say iz: 1973 Mercury Grand Marquis Brougham, Kicker 15s, and a JVC tape deck. Tape may have sukd, but it didn't skip. DJ Magic Mike get busy one time...
I grew up on these dj magic mike albums, "are you ready" is probably my favorite track off this one, it's hilarious and the bass is killer.. Good stuff....except I never understood all the stupid filler tracks, I mean one of them was nothing but a toilet flushing lol
15...1991...in my dude's Carlos basement with the concrete walls....his popz had this old 70's stereo with speakers they dont make no more...big wooded refridgerators!!!
Man we'd be down there bumping this TAPE not mp3, then come upstairs to play some Renagade on Sega, not Genesis either...old 8 bit jump off. Our heads would be hurting chest was all throbbing...good freakin' times man!!!
@PumaSweat wow same here almost....there was this old ass 70s big cabinet looking record player in my basement. when I was little and I thought I was so clever for hooking my stereo up to its speakers, I couldn't believe the bass sounds that came out of that thing! I remember playing "lower the dynamite" over and over on it. Good times
Today I learned that I actually can dance pretty well. I just need REAL music to do it to! Fav'd this vid.
I hope the club scene get's less poser infested. What I would give to own my own damn bar and put people out of business! Set up an empire of GOOD music!
Me and my brother drove my mother crazy with this song!! Actually the entire A-Side of this tape... Damn it sounds so funny saying "tape" in a CD and digital world.
My brother had a Z-24 and he used to bump Magic Mike all the time. My other brother and I would always be anxious for him to pick us up from school, bumping this, heh heh!
I used to have this album. I may still have it somewhere among the old school bass music. Great stuff!! He even used to talk about tearing up Fosgates! You really could destroy anything with his bass!
now slap your elbows!
