  • I couldn't watch the whole thing it was so horrible

  • You don't hear the sound of the guitar if your amps distortion sounds like a vacuum cleaner.

  • dont talk, dont play fast, play melodies that make sense. your riffing is cool though

  • playin a little sloppy? omfg what a gross misuse of a guitar of such craftsmanship. Stick to a Squier!

  • STOP!! your killing it...

  • hey "kids" ?

  • ok seriously, for the future, do a proper review, dont just tell us the features, tell us how it plays, what the neck is like, if it can compare to anything? shit like that. and btw those are all the questions i would like to know

  • did he just say balt-on?

  • what the fuck are you trying to play? your improvising is fucking shit, i hope someone who can play better steals this guitar because you smell

  • BAD, VERY BAD ¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Yall bitches QQin cause of a 15 year old.

  • @TheNocturnal666

i came to this video cause of you.

  • Awesome guitar, and your playin is getting there for sure, too bad that shitty sounding marshall/pod sound....pick up a cheap bugera (which sounds amazing for the price range!)and give us a new clip!

    thx for the demo!

  • @ultram4 Own a bughere XL with 4 12 box, kicks some ersious butt :)

To the topic, rather play slow and get your harmonics decent before trying to speed pick.

  • "i can't play pinch harmonics because i've just woke up''

.............. if you can't play pinch harmonics in every time of night and day...you suck!

  • This is fucking painful.

"Busted marshall, it sounds shit". No, you play like shit.

"27 frets, really conveniente", why have 27 when you use perhaps 7 of them.

"You can find the info on the guitar on the internet N SHIET" This is a demonstration, if you cant play, you probobly should give more specific info, and no preferations.

  • na chuj Ci taka gitara?

  • Nice capa!

  • haha you said ridiculously satisfied with the pickups. thats like being extremely adequate or majestically normal.

    nice . i like it.

cool review by the way. i liked how you said fuck it find their site and look at that shit for al the spec.

  • lol people sure are haters...anyway, cool guitar, wouldnt expect good tone from stock pickups (sans recording quality)

  • A typical American teenager

  • lol face at 4 25 and you are the most goofy fuck i have ever seen lmao

  • Nice guitar. I'm not one for censorship, but do you really have to say ''shit'' and ''fuck'' every other sentence?

  • Dude.. i really hoped you would be able to play something awesome, because of the awesome guitar, and the cocky way of talking.

  • You don't deserve this guitar ;p

  • That guitar is way hotter than most girls!

  • you can't really post reviews of guitars if

    a)your playing is sloppy and

    b) your camera isn't of good enough quality to give a half decent representation of the tone of the guitar.

  • stop making excuse kid

  • That gap in his teeth is killing me.

  • wtf 27 frets? that's insane

  • i lost 2 minutes of my ife watching part of this

  • If you spent longer than 1 minute (which you did) responding to this video in this fashion, you seriously need to reassess your life.

  • hey kids, you look like a kid and sound like one lol Cool axe bro.

  • 0.23 "if you were able to find this gu.. unnn video" lololol

  • assholes VVVVVVVV

  • you're really fucking annoying. who the fuck says huzzah? for real dude. i'm jealous you have that guitar tho :(

  • For one:

    Safety.

    Two:

Why did you make this? All you're doing is regurgitating the website and making a fool of yourself. im sorry let me say this in a language you can understand:

ALL YOU'RE DOING IS READING THE FUCKING WEBSITE AND MAKING AN ASS OF YOURSELF.

    Thank. You.

  • You dont disserve that guitar. It should be reserved for people like Rusty Cooley, Malmsteen (when he's not singing), Michael Romeo. the good guys. It might be useful to know that sticking to one scale works better than playing as many notes as possible regardless of the time of day.

  • agreed. though Rusty tends to stick with his awesome dean and i havent seen malmsteen play anything other than his fender.. but yes agreed.

  • Hahaha everyone is pissed about this video in one way or another... Im laughing my ass off.

  • shit! Be happy you have an amp, and a guitar and a place to jam in. It's all about having fun, it's not a contest so dont' worry so much.

  • i love gold on black and cloudy shit

  • and saying you just woke up is complete bullshit, because you could wait 20 minutes until you're awake and make a decent video then.

  • Itaru would cry if he saw this. Really.

  • I enjoy the fact that this aggravating 15 year old uses expletives in seemingly random places. I do wish that someone competent would do a video review.

  • Soloing 101: Take a lick, and tremolo pick the shit out of it.

Rhythm guitar 101: Use powerchords, you'll sound br00talz.

    -.-

  • Oh wow...who the fuck bought this for you and why? you suck and don't deserve this.

  • show the guitar some mercy and just give it to me....sweet jesus....

  • haha! this guy is a real nerd

  • 'hey kids' ?? and what are you?

  • get a life and learn how to speak dumb ass

  • What ... da fuck dude...

  • errr ummm wtf man im so high right now .....ummm what was i saying......ummmm fuckin shit ass man ....FUCK......man ummmm uhhhh go on the ummm internet....... i think ummmmm man uhhhhh i suck so bad at uuhhhhh guitar is it?

no but in all seriousness man your insanly gay and should go do what killinemfast said.....go die ....later

  • ur a fuckin toolbag who needs to learn how to speak before u start broadcasting yourself on the internet... uhhh... yeah.... umm.... fuckin... uhh.... yeah. u sound like a fuckin down syndrome case u stupid mothafucker. go fuckin crawl into a hole and never speak again dickfuck.

  • aree... ehhaehhh, yeahh..........earhh.....eeerereeeereeee... lmfao!! great guitar

  • um ur excuses are lame. your not very good. maybe you should take lessons. ur wasting that guitars potential usage

  • que gutiarra tanmas desaprovechada

  • Ok, now, speaking as a musician myself, Fast does not always equal good, you would have got much better responses on this vid if you had done a heart felt pentatonic solo imho.

  • because pentatonic = heartfelt

  • Blues uses alot of pentatonics combined with the different blues scales and thats some of the most emotional music going.

  • I would argue that the most emotional music ive ever heard are all classical peices in the Natural or Harmonic Minor scale...also the natural minor scale can be broken up into 7 unique sounding modes all with a different emotion. The blues scale to me only has 1 sound and got boring real fast

  • And im in no way suggesting that what this kid played was emotional and heart felt, but with the right phrasing i think the diatonic scales have much more feeling than the generic sounding pentatonic solos that most guitarists try to pass off as "feeling"

  • Yeah i agree with what you said, the Harmonic minor scale is Beautiful to hear if played with good phrasing and such. I personally like blues, so it doesn't get too boring for me. But people have different tastes.

Lets just settle that this kid Didn't use his scales to full effect in this vid :)

  • Smoke some weed dude!

  • please dont start your video with "hey kids" when you cant even squeal :o

PS: don't try to show off with shitty alternating picks try som arpeggios or scales or something. just because you can play fast doesn't make you good

  • Caparison is a brand for soloists, guitar masters, true musicians, not for... umh... noobs...

  • Yea tou are right, but i realise i forgot the point 5 :

he is hilarous and i imagine me crushing his head with the guitar...

    poor guitar

  • ok :

    1) this guitar is awesome

    2) the kid is a poser and tried to show with approximative alternate picks...

    3) i think good gear at the beginning of learning is really not a waste if the player work very hard... It could be a huge motivation source

    4) he sux anyway

  • I really hope he improves. I really hate to hear him talk though.

  • A good guitar wasted on a shitty player.

  • Comment removed

  • u love the beginning! hey kids!!

youre a kid too! learn to play.. or sell your guitar for a flute or something.

  • BUT YEAH

  • You look like your struggling!

  • dude you do not deserve this guitar...... im sorry to sound like a dick... but it's just hard to watch someone play an amzing instument and not make it sound good... you will get better im sure.. espicially with that guitar as inspiration

  • Man did you seriously talk for 3 minutes straight? wow.. lol, next time, for a tip - just shutup and play.. and play something good perhaps.. or give me that guitar. haha just kidding. but yea.

  • you can't do pinch harmonics because of your noise gate? who are YOU kidding! hahahahah

  • the tapping was kind of messy during the mornig hours

  • Apologies for the comment. This is an official band account and someone who shouldn't have been on the account took it upon themselves to speak freely to you in a degrogatory way.

  • It was your guitarist, how is that someone who "shouldn't have been on the account"?

  • What a fag

  • You are a fag.

  • ^_^

  • Nah, my friend doesnt care either. I was trolling as well btw

  • jesus, you're quite the troll sir. i'll give you that.

  • Who wears a condom while preforming anal?

I like this smiley face stuff, you're like "OH MAN I GOT HIM, NOW I ADD THE SMILEY FACE FOR EFFECT"

  • Oh i'm sorry. Anus.

  • my dick is shitty from fucking your mom's ass.

  • Agreed, BRL is the way to go if you're wanting to buy a Capa, followed up by Axe Palace. Budd is probably one of the coolest dealers I've seen, and deffinatly does whatever he can to make it best for the customer.

I just got my first Caparison a week or two ago. Deffinatly better than what I was expecting. After playing and/or owning ESP's, USA Jacksons, USA Deans ect. this is probably the best playing guitar I've played.

  • One of 2 dealers in the country? There's 5 in the US, but I would recommend BRL Guitarworks in CAN. If you wanted to stay continental, Axe Palace in AR.

Hard to get? No, unless you can't afford one new. Even then they have been floating on ebay for $1k - $1.8K in mint condition. Most of which are sold from reputable dealers and owners.

    Cheers!

  • lol "hey kids"

yeah...cos ur a big grizzly man...

  • Thanks for noticing my grizzle, dear.

  • @ilrs lol what a fucking douche. did daddy buy you that.

  • @ilrs lol what a fucking douche. did daddy buy you that. i bet if he heard your language he would take it away and put your sorry/terrible ass in timeout

  • oooh, how much u pay for that? i know they run at least a couple grand. it's my dream to own a Caparison one day...

  • It learns to touch...

  • Nice Motorhead shirt.

I'm intrested in the guitar actually, how much do they go for?

  • Actually the Schallers are German made and the regular "original" Floyd Rose trems are made in like some Asian sweat shop but your right on the point that the Schallers are better.

  • Truth. This kid is an idiot..."basically"

  • The BH-IIR pickup in the neck doesn't handle gain too well but it's a very smooth and warm pickup (Great for rhythm). You seem to be satisfied.

  • smoke some weed dude

  • I don't see the correlation between your choice of guitar to your style of playing.

  • quit fucking talking

  • practice... and learn some scale shapes...

  • you suck as a guitarist, let me be honest, but the guitar seems to be awesome

    keep on playing

  • Yet again, as I've said to multiple people, watch my other video if you want a better demonstration of my playing. I notice that my playing in this video sucks, and I never claim to be the greatest guitarist in the world, but I know for a fact that my playing as a whole doesn't suck.

  • hey dude, awesome video, nice guitar. Im thinking getting a Cap, buuut I was looking at getting the Angelus, which i think we can both agree, is a gorgeous guitar. I was just wondering what made you choose that and not the Angelus. Personal preference? Or is there a quality difference? Thought id ask and get the full heads up. Thanks!

  • Hey man, thanks for the comment. My biggest personal point of conflict with the design of the Angelus is just that the neck's feel doesn't really work for me. If you ever get the opportunity to play all the Caps at the same time, you'll notice that the feel of the neck is like one of the most significant differences between the models. To be honest, the necks on the Dellingers feel the best, in my opinion, and if I were to buy a second Cap, it'd be a Dellinger. But yea, my choice was preference.

  • Why the fuck are you commenting on my video?

  • UR NOT IN A BAAAND

  • Love the review :)

    Budd Royce

    Canadian Caparison Distributor

    admin - CaparisonForumDotCom

  • Thanks so much, man. Out of curiosity, how much do you charge for Dellinger-7s, as both American distributors are pricing them at $2500-ish US, yet I've heard of people getting them for under $2000, and I'm wondering whether your prices are any different.

  • a good guitar doesn´t make a bad guitar player better than before ;)

and you look like a fish when you play!

    greetz from germany ;)

  • tokai como el culo y te gastai la mansa guitarra sigue mejorando mejor ya que el instrumento ta la rajaa

  • 5 ^^

  • this guy is a total saibot

  • Just curious cause I'm looking into buying a Horus, does the guitar stay in tune well? Is it stable?

  • Yea, the Schaller floating trem is the best I've ever encountered. It's pretty easy to maintain, and it stays in tune really well.

  • 4 fucks sake its just a review video. Get some balls, lose ur virginity and give this guy a break. I'm crap at theory but i enjoy playing the instrument- judgemental bastards like u seem 2 think this is wrong.

  • wtf is an idiot like u doin with that guitar?

  • Owning it, it seems. And playing it. And performing occasional maintenance upon it. Obviously you're just an attention-deprived douchenozzle who decides to comment on others' videos to feel better about themselves. My playing really isn't all that good in this video, I've explained that about 5,000 times, and that's why I posted a video of better playing, but if you're too much of a lazy fuck to read then I guess that'd explain your lack of comprehension of that simple fact. Have a nice day.

  • Lol @ american fag =]

  • That was quite the scholarly comeback. Quite scholarly indeed. I'd recommend you learn how to argue a point or at least construct a damned sentence before you try to start shit with me. The country that I'm from has nothing to do with that at all, so I really don't see your point in raising it. You obviously have nothing to say, so I really don't see the point in you having replied at all.

  • well at least i can play pick, AND play in key. Just to make my point clear that you do not deserve this guitar, this is the outcome of little rich kids who don't know what they are doing getting a very good guitar that is going to be completely wasted on them.

Take this guitar back to the shop so someone who can actually play can buy it, and then go and buy a BC Rich, they suite your style much better, in other words - they are shite.

Are those sentences good enough for you?

    =]

  • First of all, have you still not fucking watched the other video? I notice that my playing's bad in this. And I bought this guitar with my own money, so you're honestly in no position to just think I'm just some little rich kid. I'm astounded by how pretentious you are. You're really not that good of a player yourself yet you act like your word is to be taken like the word of god. I'm seriously sick of your shit, so either say something that's fucking constructive or I'm deleting your comments.

  • well mate I'm miles above your standards of playing.

heres some constructive criticism - learn to play in key.

  • telling him to play "in key" is retarded because there is no backing music. if he's playing solo, he can play in whatever the hell key he wants to and modulate the shit out of it. the last person he needs to be taking musical advice from is a 15 year old ignorant yngwie wannabe who has no knowledge of theory at all.

  • So what you are saying is that, if you are a bad driver, but you bought a Mercedes because you wanted a new car, and liked a certain one, you should sell that, and buy a fucking Ford Taurus? Get a fucking life Jakethecooldude, you're a complete jackass. People have liberties in the country whether you like it or not.

  • You sir are a fucking dumbass. Playing in key doesnt matter if you dont have backing because there isnt a key behind you. You're just playing your fucking "stupid american" card. fuck you, and learn about guitar before you talk about, dumbfuck. Die in a fire.

  • you sir are a raging adolescent. An adult, from any country, would not talk like this if they were enev in the least bit mature. It's a youtube video and I, as well as you, personally know that this is not even close to worst display of guitar knowledge or talent. Grow up child.

  • Try to make replies that have grammar and make sense to people who arent retarded.

  • Way to change the subject, "sir".

  • ah fuck off grampa.

  • Funny, UK/European Bastard (although It might be considered irrelevant)...

  • because he obviously saved his ass off for it...and wanted one. Oh and another thing.....Theres already a Malmsteen. And another thing....you can knock our president but dont knock our country....last time I checked we've got more guns than you. As well as better music. I dont know who gives us shittier music....the British or the Canadians? And one more thing you Neo classical Nut job Wannabe. At least we metalheads play real fucking music.

  • Dont be dissin the neoclassical man!

  • Que inveja desse muleke!!

  • What'd you pay for it

What other guitars would you compare the neck to

Where is this one of 2 dealers in the country

and can I have it? =]

  • I payed $1800. The neck's a lot like that of a Jackson or an Ibanez. The 2 dealers in the US are Guitar Asylum in New York and Chuck Levin's Music in Washington. And no, I'm pretty sure you can't have it, haha.

  • 1800!!!! I was expecting you to have paid a lot more. Did you by chance get it at Guitar Asylum, because that's where I would get it. And it is so awesome that the neck is like an Ibanez, because that's what I play now. Thanks, man.

  • Yea, $1800 is pretty cheap for these. I didn't get mine at Guitar Asylum, I think they're a couple hundred dollars more at Guitar Asylum, though. Nothing way too gigantic, though. The neck's quite fantastic, I'd definitely recommend that you go to one of those dealers and play one. Thanks.

  • that guitar is so cool

  • Straight and to the point, just like how every guitar review should be. Thanks for sharing...

  • I'm sorry dude but you suckass at guitar! I know I'm not great either but if you have the balls and/or the money to even go out and buy a guitar of a Caparison's standard, make sure you actually deserve to have one! If it really is due to the fact that you had just woken up then please, post another video and redeem yourself!

  • Yea, I notice that my playing is really really terrible in this video. I'll post another video sometime soon.

  • dude well as you state and as he state's he just woke up to do the review

the same thing happens to me ...we all have our off days so just give him a break at least hes taking his time to give us a review on a great guitar ..i was even considering getting a caparison when i have alot of money

    appreciate the review

  • I'm not knocking his review. It was highly interesting and informative and much the same as you, I'd also like to buy a Caparison some day. Preferably, the Horus HGS(Oiled Walnut) or the Dellinger II(Pro. Trans. Dark Rose). However, as he said himself, he is now practically broke due to the fact that he bought one so it'll be a long time just yet!

I'm extremely jealous, and know just as well as you both, mornings aren't always the best times to play, I just wanna see what he can really do.

  • Have you watched the video I put up, in that case?

  • well at least you sound nicer now its just that the fact that you said that he sucks ass is sorta what gets to me

i have nothing against you or anything really the model i want is the Ammot model cause my friend meet michael on a plane (true story) and he relized while he was talking to him he was in arch enemy .so michael offers him to buy his krankenstine so my friend bought it at the cheap price of 2 grand ..i belive with that guitar and a personal AE amp it would give a great tone .

  • As much as I appreciate you standing up for me, I really can't blame people for thinking I suck ass from this video. My playing in this is rather horrific and is really no display of my real ability level.

  • your welcome .its not like im mad at the person who said that comment

its just that we all tend to have off days in guitar playing thats all i express

and my playing can be bad at times when im among my older peers

  • Thats wicked! Yea, I'll have to wait till I'm like 30 to get one! At the moment I have an Ibanez RG7620 7-string going through a Boss GT-8 into a Line 6 Spider 2x12 Combo Amp and I can get some sweet ass tones but nothing compares to a Caparison. My friend has a PRS CE-24 and that kicks the ass out of his Boss GT-6 but he has got it going through a 60W Kuston Amp, which gives it this rough, dusty tone which so doesn't do his PRS justice. He wants to get a Laney stack though, so all is not lost!

  • same here man i currently have a Dean Evo, Ibanez RG 570 (japan), a custom american ibanez S series guita(sounds amazing),and a fender american strat with dimarzio HS-3's and there all bad ass and the only pedal i got is a seymoure duncan twin tube mayhem and a limited edition hendrix wha,i try to keep it a bit natural at times but yeah the though of that rig that i was talking about is amazing it would unleash hell.and a laney stack sounds amazing but i want a vintage mondern, tried it loved it

  • The tone on the Vintage Moderns is just way too thin for my taste, personally. It basically ruined Takayoshi Ohmura's tone after he stopped using Hughes and Kettner, but I guess that's why there's a $3000 difference between the Vintage Moderns and the Hughes and Kettner he was using.

  • well i always wanted a hughes and kettner amp but they were to expensive for me ...and the vintage modern was a good amp and a run for your money. i thought it had a good tone to me

but you got to admit ohmura didnt have the best tone really..he sounded like all the other average shredders to me ...BUT IN SOME WAYS HK DOES DOMINATE OVER MARSHALL ...but marshall is mainly going to be my first choice

  • I own an Edition Blue side/practice amp...

  • Yea, any PRS through a Laney Stack will sound fantastic, as proven by Opeth.

  • ..You do know that it isn't Michael who plays Caparison, right? His brother Chris Amott plays them, Michael plays ESP. Haha, nice try though.

  • Yea, I was trying to figure out what you meant, then I noticed that you were aiming that at the other guy. Yea, it's Chris who plays Caparisons, not Michael.

  • haha, yeh.. sorry, Youtube tends to show the comment as a video comment, not on another person.

  • well sorry for that typo..i just forgot

thats all...but just think of it the chris ammot guitar with a a previously owned michael ammot krank

  • who makes a guitar video after waking up?

  • oh well thats fair anough, lets have it baby!

  • do you play anything else apart from power chords and E chords?

  • Yes, I do. As I've clarified multiple times before, this video is barely a demonstration of my playing, I just wanted to talk a tad bit about the guitar.

  • I gotta start saving... How well does it stay in tune?

  • It stays in tune quite well if you really have the essentials of caring for a floating trem down. The key thing is making sure the whole spring tension to string tension ratio is perfect.
