The funny thing is I've listened to that song a thousand times and for some reason when I was recording the cover some of the little words like "but" slipped through the cracks. I was even reading the lyrics on the floor (notice the glasses). haha

My personal opinion is that this one is better than Pruett's, but really they just have different styles. Pruett's voice sounds more like the radio version, but Turley's voice sounds more like the acoustic version, so it seems to be better integrated.

Honestly, sometimes you can hear that you'r voice has to stretch a little to much to get those really high notes, but to me it sounds good when u do it anway. Maybe u just need a little more confident ;)

But he sounds awesome when his voice stretches for the notes. His voice gets a bit grungy, which for this song, works PERFECTLY. Usually when people "stretch" for notes, they go flat and don't quite make it. Turley is ALWAYS on pitch throughout this entire song.
