Locate the main wires "fattest" that goes to the CPU of the car (between car battery and the coils on the engine) and shake it with the hands to achieve better contact to the cpu. Then start the car.
Now, the problem is trivial, but it's not the five minute job! I wouldn't want to sugest you something if you have no mehanical or similar skils. I will perform the "fix" this weekend with the pics.
@opa55opa55 But you think it's caused by that "loose" connection? I don't know, mine is on petrol...and yes, I won't try anything, I don't have any skills to do anything :)
I located the problem and it is "loose" connection caosed probably with the instalation of the LPG, but regarding the same model and year of car, it could be factory default!
Fuel consuption is bigger becose CPU of a car is resseting every time we start the engine and need to "learn" how to beehive again and again and again...
This problem ocured one year ago and it become persistant. I tried everything to locate the issue except going to the dealer and think I made it! I have the LPG instaled. You?
@opa55opa55 I think I've started having this problem after the guys from Ford entered the board computer in order to optimize fuel consumption (it's better now). Mine is on petrol
@opa55opa55 I haven't found any solution yet. The car was in service...and the guys from there connected the car to the computer and tried to fix the problem that way...after they've done something using the computer, they said that the problem should be fixed. But it wasn't fixed, of course.
It's not a big problem...but it is a little annoying, mostly because I have only short trips and I can't calculate my fuel consumption properly. Do you have any other problems with it?
after doing this does the problem repeats?
