Honestly, I don't think them both being Altaic languages has much to do with it... I imagine it's more simply that they picked voice actors and actresses that sound similar.

The Korean version, the girls talk about that Usagi would get embarassed if she goes joins the softball team by screwing the team up with errors, and make fun of her that theres no other categories to join for Usagi since her math score is very bad as well and Usagi is pissed (well sort of... like less than half way? lol)

The original Japanese version is about other girls telling why she joined the softball team with Seiya when she has Mamorou and questions Usagi how she thinks of Seiya with Usagi sort of ignoring Seiya's approach

Don't act like you know everything about Korean version of these animes.

They didn't edited starlights were male. They just edited naked scenes because they thought it's harmful for children watchers.

They are male in Korean version.

you know, in korean, sailor moon's name is sarah, not serena or usagi. mars is vicky (except korean ppl pronounce it bicky), mercury is yuri, jupiter is leetah and venus is still mina. just thought you might wanna know!

What? The korean dub I watched, their names were the days of the week Wul-ah (Usagi: monday), Hwahl-ah (Mars: tuesday), Soo-ah (Ami/Mercury: wed), Mok-ah (Jupiter: thursday), and Geum-ah (Mina/Venus: friday).

Usagi's "serena" name was still the same, too. Maybe this was just the first season, because that's all I watched the Korean one up to, but that was something that I felt was very distinct about the dub.

The Korean version you watched is video version, not broadcasted on TV. But... I favor video version than broadcasted one, because it is never edited and is never changed attack spells, But, broadcasted one is a lot! I'm so afraid that video version is paused coming out.
