@Deliciousfruit233 For Magneton, you have to level up it while on Mount Cornet in the Sinnoh region in order for Magneton to evolve into Magnezone. So Silver would have to travel to the Sinnoh region and go inside Mount Cornet and level up his Magneton so it will evolve into Magnezone. For Sneasel, he needs to have it hold a Razor Claw and level it up during the night which he could have a higher chance doing than evolving Magneton.

They, they GOT RID OF THE CHAMPION MUSIC WHEN FACING HIM HERE!? That was my favorite part of the game, facing him with you as the champion, and him as the challenger. It spoke so much as to your progress and THEY REPLACED IT!!!

@Isaiaspod After this battle, when Silver's Pokemon have reached the maximum levels, every Monday and Wednesday come back to that very spot in the Indigo Plateau and he'll come back and challenge you.

Here's a pointless detail: Every Tuesday and Thursday after you beat him at the Indigo Plateau, He'll be in the Dragon's Den training. It's not a double battle with you and him vs Lance and Clair again, but he'll be there. Talk to him and he'll tell you how he's seen the error of his ways.

I don't get why he never evolves his Sneasel or Magneton.

@opalen903 I agree with you on the Sneasel part, as you only need a Razor Claw and for it to be nighttime, but there's no possible way to evolve Magneton in HG/SS. You need to level it up in Mt. Coronet for it to evolve. Mt. Coronet's in Sinnoh, not Johto or Kanto. How Jasmine and Lt. Surge eventually get one, I'm not sure.

I'm pretty sure it's all in the spirit of remaking certain things in the game exactly as they were in the originals. After all, Weavile and Magnezone weren't in Generation 2
