  • I have pending approval on comments. As Paul Washer supporters seem to think scriptures are irrelevant and truth unimportant Check the comments.

Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

All your worship and praise is worthless if you reject truth. Now that is the truth.

Mat 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

  • @1Th1617 "You said Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Which ALL believers receive when they believe upon the Lord." (FALSE)

Act 8:15 .....prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

Act 8:16 (For as yet he (the Holy Ghost) was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized (in water) in the name of the Lord Jesus.) :17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

Act 19:2 He said .., Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?

    ABC's Heb6:1,2

  • Thief on the cross wasn't baptized. All that is required for salvation is faith on Jesus' death. Repentance is a result of salvation, not the cause of salvation

  • @pandaman123213 You use the old thief on the cross argument. After the theif on the cross. Jesus commanded baptism

Jesus commanded the disciples to go teach and baptize Mat 28:19 You teach contrary to sound doctrine.

You say baptism not necessary because of the TOC. You teach He that believeth and is NOT baptized shall be saved; opposite to the Lord. Mar 16:16 Baptism is a principal doctrine of Christ you are unable to grasp. you never studied baptism. watch my vids on baptism

  • @pandaman123213 Baptism was considered the consummation of salvation in biblical times, much like a wedding ceremony consummates what a couple has done in their heart. The poster here is not saying baptism is the cause. Hello? People dont just routinely make public declarations of Christ for games. That idea is preposterous. Paul Washer's counsel of having a woman go out a beg for salvation is complete idiocy. What a tragic bunch of crap from hell that is.

  • You're right about Pastor Washer's guidance to salvation and his views on the power of the Holy Ghost, but remember this; in Revelations many churches has wrinkles that Jesus Christ pointed out NOT THROWING AWAY THE ENTIRE CHURCH, but pointing out one think wrong among other things right. He's looking for a church without spot or wrinkle and rebuking a man of God ENTIRELY because of many rights he has major wrongs is ALSO a wrinkle. God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ.

  • @RSmith1982

@RSmith1982 did you think about this comment? you need to repent. If he preaches the wrong Gospel that is OK? I quote you "You're right about Pastor Washer's guidance to salvation"

If he is wrong about salvation, who cares about anything else he teaches?

If he can't get the principles and foundation right..

Spot or wrinkle? Washing of water by the word. You are part of the problem, like many others truth is not worth defending.

You have not the love of the truth.

  • but this is what paul is saying, go home and seek him (which means repent)

  • @Benzkopf "Paul is saying go home and repent"??? (I know that is what he saying)

I don't think you get it.

Paul said unto them go home and repent

Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, .....

You see it is not the same. They said 2 different things.

You choose PW over Peter an apostle a man filled with the Holy Ghost, God confirming his message.

No offense but you must not care about truth. (your deluded)

  • @Job32x11

you know salvation does not depend on baptism with water ( but on the baptism of the holy spirit, which is followed by faith, which is followed by repentance)

  • @Benzkopf Really?? "salvation does not depend on baptism "

Who gave you authority to change the word of God?

Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them

    Jesus said Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

But you say He that believeth and is NOT baptized shall be saved.

sort of makes you antichrist, opposing the Gospel changing the word.

Putting the doctrine of men above God.

1Pe 3:21 The like figure whereunto EVEN BAPTISM DOTH NOW SAVE US

  • @Job32x11

you know there is a difference between baptism and baptism of the holy spirit.

simon was also baptised and was not saved.

be baptised with the holy spirit.

  • @Benzkopf Everyone who hates truth uses obscure irrelevant scriptures to circumvent truth. You err not knowing the scriptures. Only two baptisms in the Holy GHOST. Pentecost and Gentiles. The rest received by laying on of hands.

Once you understand and obey the basics Heb 6:1, then I will talk further.

repent and be baptized for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. You may even speak in tongues. I did: that is reality. Stop playing church. Bless you.

  • I was baptized as an infant and now I want to follow Christ. Am I going to hell just because I haven't been re-baptized?

  • @janeym There is a criteria to being baptized, you must first believe. Impossible for an infant. Mk16:16 There are only two reasons you wouldn't be baptized . One is you are ignorant of truth, because you have not studied the scriptures, and place the doctrine of men above the word. Or, you are rebellious.

See my video parable of two sons. Your choice ultimately

  • @janeym the age of accountability is 20 according to Numbers. See 1 John 3:4 for repentance and get baptized.

  • your right. good vidoe.

  • @eXecutivedirectress The reason for this video is to point out the unscriptural answer, PW gives. You say that I should reprove him. PW has been preaching for decades, and doesn't preach baptism. a first principle even you and I understand.

If PW a seasoned preacher doesn't preach it, it is deliberately and consciously omitted from his message.

Google Paul Washer in ref to baptism, Zero. Now you say reprove him, I say expose him. He perpetuates the notion Baptism is not required. God Bless

  • see my video "nobody's fault but mine"

  • Do you have a scripture to support that view theory. Have you heard of the Bereans?

  • Ok Job so let me ask you this..If I repent and get baptized but I dont put my trust and faith in Jesus, will I be saved?

  • No.

Now let me ask you a question

    why are we baptized?

  • Baptism is a public declaration that you believe in Jesus Christ...The reason I asked that question is because that verse said nothing about faith. It said to repent and get baptized. But clearly in other passages it says that by our faith we are saved. Faith without works is dead. So through faith comes repentance. Baptism is required for salvation, it is associated with it.

  • I sincerely ask can you find a scripture that teaches it is a public declaration.

This is what I also believed at one time

Then I looked up a every scripture in the word in the NT referring to baptism.

    My understanding soon changed

see my video nobody's fault but mine

  • There can be, no interpretation of Peter's preaching here that makes it different from the commission he was given.

He had been commanded to "preach." He did it. He had been commanded to preach repentance and remission of sins, in the name of Jesus, beginning at Jerusalem. He had received a commission from the Lord that said: "Preach the gospel to every creature; he that believes and is baptized shall be saved."'

To all this Peter was true, both at Jerusalem and elsewhere thereafter.

  • I am still speechless!

  • Hi Job32x11, I respectfully disagree with you because repentance is turning away from sin and seeking God. Believing is seeking God knowing that He exists and He is the only Savior. This what Paul Washer is telling her to do. He is telling her to run to God for forgiveness and mercy. This is also less than 3 minutes of his sermon.
