@littlehawaii2 There all fighting in the same environment so there going to share some common design features. Things like the tandem crew cockpits (thinner fuselage, less of a target), stub wings (for carrying ordnance) and others were pretty much pioneered way back by the Bell AH-1 to increase survivability.

@littlehawaii2 well, more like the Bell AH-1 Cobra, which the Apache was the "copied" offspring.
