One of the very first records I ever got was this 7-inch single. Everyone has heard the A-side a million times, but very few people know this song. I love it and it takes me back to Kindergarten :)

Isnt You Tube great. I havent heard this track for 25 years. I could only remember it had Koala Bear in the title. I typed it in and Hey presto!.I was 20 again...Took me right back to the Eighties, sharing a maisonette with my two best friends in Norwich and all the adventures we had. Discovering the Beatles and all the associated music, going out 6 days a week. Having a smoke and a few other things, which I dont condone or glamourize but what can I say I had just the best time.Great song..

Undeniably a solid piece of rock and arranging..Paul McCartney is the ultimate ballad writer.....C'mon..And I Love Her...Michelle...Yesterday...a­s much as I don't care for the background voices chanting ''Koala...Koala"...you cannot deny this man his due..very listenable...On the other hand, if I never heard Say Say Say, The Girl Is Mine, Silly Love Songs, or Let em In again , that would be great!

YES I'm glad somebody posted this.Now I don't have to drag out the dance single and 45.This is one of my favorate 1980's Mc.Cartney's b sides. Say Say Say was okay but this is better.

I have always imagined - what would have happened if Paul had released "Monkberry Moon Delight" as a single in 1971 as rather evident choice from "Ram". "Imagine" would be forgotten today. Those McCartney's songs with characteristic pop/rock charm and strong melodies. Potential hits which never became hits - forgotten as B-sides to A-sides and so on. "Loveliest Thing" and that majestic Koala of course. I wonder if those songs will ever have their great moment.
