Damn I never see this man draw with pencils it's always with pens, marker or paint he's very talented. But i'm sure if he's drawing something serious he uses pencils because I seen some sketches of his but he is beyond amazing. Tetsuya, just go design Kingdom Hearts and some characters for Final Fantasy and have Amano, be the designer once again!!!

Sad to hear the book was stolen. I think he works so fast because he has worked the same style and the same character for probably 20 years when this was filmed. He is a fantastic artist, he has inspired me alot. D is a great character, and alot of it is the studies Amano creates. Nice video too.

Sadly, the book was stolen later that con. :[ I do have an autographed Vampire Hunter D wallscroll, though, that he drew on for me the next day!

@EruIluvatar Tetsuya great? He's good not great a bit overrated there's a lot better artist out there than Tetsuya who deserve to be in more games.
