I don’t think of evolution as irrelevant for a RBE.. To really get the message through that this earth is one single organism, you HAVE to include evolution. Facts need to be shown, in every possible way, there’s no need for hiding it because it interferes with people’s believes if these believes are proven wrong! Do not hide the truth because it would hurt 'em!

First of all I would like to congratulate Pangea for this beautiful piece!! Keep up the good work, i've got extremely good feelings watching this vid. In regard of the evolution matter being discussed, I think that it matches the purpose of the vid. I'm a biologist and after studying evolution deeply for 5 years, it's clear to me that it's a fact indeed, not just a theory. And regardless of people who don't believe it, evolution embraces both the emergent and symbiotic aspects of the universe.

this video makes people who don't believe in evolution very unwelcome. the RBE idea is an idea for EVERYBODY, people's personal beliefs aren't relevant. there's no reason why someone who believes in creationism shouldn't feel welcome in the RBE. but videos like this make them feel unwelcome.

@TZMvideoproject : We agree, everybody is welcome. The point of the video was to show the interconnection we all share as well as the journey of man, and not to leave anyone out. The important message we're trying to spread through this video is the need for humans to enquire within upon everything, this ability is what got us so far. We are also picturing that we have the technology needed for the transition to RBE today as well as the vision of the world that the Venus Project is proposing.

@thepangeaorg : you don't seem to understand my point. as long as we promote the RBE in direct connection with The Venus Project and videos like this one (which is strongly focused on evolution), we make it seem like the RBE is not an idea for EVERYBODY, but only for atheists and other people who don't believe in the supernatural. that way we will fail to get EVERYBODY interested in the RBE, which means that the RBE will not become a reality.

Here at Pangea we focus a lot on educating the people. The message this video is trying to send has nothing to do with an atheist or any other point of view. It has to do with the truth based on scientific facts.

@thepangeaorg : but you seem to ignore the scientific facts that: A) millions of people in the world don't believe in evolution, B) the belief in evolution is irrelevant for an RBE, and C) we want EVERYBODY to understand and support the RBE, not only people who believe in evolution. therefore, the LOGICAL thing to do would be to remove irrelevant topics like evolution from our RBE info materials, because otherwise we won't reach people who don't believe in evolution.

Evolution of the species is – as far as we know – a scientific fact. We will not hide information to accommodate any delusions perpetuated by established institutions. As stated before, education is of the utmost importance.

@TZMvideoproject : RBE is of course for everyone, and personal spiritual or other beliefs are welcome on the principal that they are not enforced by anyone on anybody else. On the other hand objective, scientific, proven facts are there for anyone to discover and learn from.

We do not impose this objective, scientific proven information to anyone; we simply promote it, without the intention to offend anyone of our fellow human beings.

@thepangeaorg : that is of course a very good attitude you describe. however, if you create associations between the RBE and ideas like evolution (like this video does), you must be aware of the fact that this will not attract people who don't believe in evolution. evolution may or may not be scientific fact, the problem remains that evolution is IRRELEVANT for the RBE, and by using evolution in your materials, you make people feel unwelcome who don't believe in evolution.
