I like the way it smells. Do you think a guy could wear this? A non-effeminate guy?

My first impression of Lady Vengeance was of a solid wall of musk (which I don't like) hitting me in the nose. I received a decant in a swap, so maybe it was very old or something. Once I was able to claw my way through the musk force field, I found a lovely, lively, intriguing scent underneath. I may even consider a bottle of this, if it comes with an industrial musk remover.

never tried anything from this house. i will be receiving a decant or Rose Oud from By Kilian soon. I grew up not really caring for rose but after smelling Baie Rose 26 by Le Labo i'm suddenly attracted to rose scents. Nice review, keep em coming. You have a very calming quality about you.

Good review. Midnight Oud is also very rose dominated, but not quite FBW (given that it's more expensive than most Montale's).
