Winger was never really highly respected or taken seriously in the 80's by critics or other hair bands because of Kip Winger's good looks. I could never understand it. A very talented band.
this is amazing! sooo soo tight i love winger, they were probably the tightest band of the 80's. it's amazing how well they can all move around and play like that! and about the crowd silence, the audio is taken from the sound board so any audience noise is being picked up through mics.
Funny how a song glamorizing child molesting is so popular and he sings it without a ting of guilt or shame.... twisted stuff.... I like the band but, like all things, I don't agree with everything in it...
@jamzusa kind of a bullshit argument. child? since when is a 17 year old a child in the narrow sense of the word?when you're 17 you can buy cigarettes and beer in europe, or drive a car in the US. that negates the right of being called a CHILD, cause those actions are in my opinion, actions only to be taken with a serious amount of responsability. you can get yourself killed with booz, or by driving a car. or even kil someone else (with both!). haven't heard of someone dying of sex recently...
@MrDunkJunk I agree.... I guess it's a Van Halen thing with his son playing but then again Van Halens own the band, correct?... I think Jason left Metallica due to a drug addiction or something from what I heard... the band goes on.
I have this on dvd and the crowd response is much louder than it comes across here. So sick of "Kip doesn't play his bass" comments. Watch any of their more recent shows and tell me he doesn't play. The lyrics of this song bely the complexity of the music and it's quite amazing how he's able to jump over speakers, run up stairs and still sing on pitch and play at the same time. Horribly underrated talent...
@KEYNUTT Of course he plays the bass. he's even tuning it as he's playing it in this video... Try to ignore the haters.. If you love the band you see past their comments.
Well, I bet this recording was only recording the band so I bet the crowd responce was much louder then you hear in the video. Plus, I think Winger was the opening band here so not everyone was there to see them. Just my thoughts
awesome !!! anyone have the whole gig ? winger are the best hard rock band to come out of the 80/90s music scene !!!! and are still kicking ass today . rock on
Thanks for posting this. I really enjoy seeing old concerts by these guys - they really are great live. Seemed to be having some tuning issues on this one tho- the ending is a bit off. First time I've seen them less than perfect...

Kips a gifted muthafucker ! Who says he doesnt play bass? ! Hes a muso and I think that would be an insult. Most artists hate having to mime anyway.
Theres better videos where kip is definitely playing so id say hes playing here!

Must've sucked for the band to try to get the crowd to sing, and be greeted by complete silence.

@negergreger88 it's the way this show is mic'd. you can't even hear the crowd sing during the kiss set, and they were DEFINITELY singing.
