@RedTeamSniper If you have not played any FE game,I suggest you play FE:Sacred Stones,or if you own a wii,buy FE:Radiant Dawn and FE:Path Of Radiance.PoR is the prequel to RD,so you would know more about the before events if you played them in order.

Don't get your hopes up for this because we didn't even get Fire Emblem: Shin Monshō no Nazo: Hikari to Kage no Eiyū (Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem: Heroes of Light and Shadow) and it was a SEQUEL to Shadow Dragon. Even thought it came out over a year ago we still don't have it and we probably never will :(

@Leodelo98 Path of radiance and Radient dawn for me. They are pretty good. Path of radiance on Gamecube, and Radient dawn is the sequel 3 years later in story and is on the wii. I'd say they're both good, but expect a couple of flaws in both. This 3DS game characters look incredibly boring in comparison to those in POR and RD IMO!

@Leodelo98 Oh man, here we go. POR (gamecube) is like £100 first hand on amazon, whereas RD (wii) is £30 first hand. Don't get wii one alone 'cos story won't make sense. I prefer POR because the support conversations are soooo interesting, and note some are hilarious! PLUS its different conversation depending on the pair i.e. The conversation between Mia and Rhys will be completely different to when it is Mia and ilyana. You get to learn about characters in POR.

@Leodelo98 Unfortunately, Nintendo and Inteligent Systems made the support convo's way worse in RD. All it is between chars is "Hi [name]. How ya doing?" "Hey there [name2] fightings ace!". The best thing about RD is there are ALOT more FMV cutscenes than in POR (only has 6), and they even let a bunch of merceneries (11 of them) have a good part in one FMV, execution. Just youtube "fire emblem radient dawn execution" and it'll be there.

Believe it or not, there is a loyal fanbase to the fire emblem series in North America, myself in particular. Please localize this for me(us), as well as correcting your mistake and localizing New Mystery of the Emblem for me(us). While your at it, remake the other non-localized games is the series (as well as those wii games OP Rainfall is fighting for) and put them on the e-shop or give them an complete overhaul. Thanks.

@ForgetTheEnd They play similarly, but FFT and FE have always had more depth than each other in different areas. Tactics has more advanced menus, Fire Emblem has story-altering sequences (though mostly small) that depend on wether certain characters live or die in battle (many characters end up marrying each other if they have strong enough support bonds).

When this games comes out in Japan, the 2nd one on DS should be localized to America and Europe. Then around late 2012/early 2013, the 3DS can be localized to America and Europe.

This game is the reason why I'm buying a 3DS. Reminds me a lot of the GBA Fire Emblems (Which were the best) and this game looks promising. I hope the story is good and that the Wi-Fi is even better. The graphics look awesome too. Another great Intelligent Systems game I will buy is the Paper Mario for 3DS.

@Revix77 It's not a JRPG just because it's made in japan. It's not the same as say, Final Fantasy or persona or something. You don't really get characters with huge fucking purple hair(Well, you doish). Fire Emblem's universe is based around medievalish europe, all of the names are taken from western mythology such as the trojan war or the song of roland.  And it's not even an RPG, you only play a character in FE7, FE12 and FE2. Fire emblem is a JTBS at most. A turn-based-strategy.

@ifsey Fire emblem has the same elements as that which is seen in original final fantasy but obviously its not the same because its a tactical-RPG while final fantasy and persona are normal RPG's. the characters appearance doesn't make effect if its a JRPG at all. (I've played quite a lot where characters maintain normal hair color) and yes one of the classification of a JRPG is that its made in Japan.and also it's already calssified as a RPG but like i said before its a JTRPG.
