but i'd personally just buy a mark series head or combo.

the triaxis is awesome, but definately mark iic+ or mark iv are the best way to go.

I see a CAE SE3 in your rack. How does it compare to the tri-axis sound wise?

Triaxis is better for cleans, CAE is better for distortion (high gain). But the triaxis is more versatile -you can cover almost everything.

CAE is the king of hard rock. It has more singing lead channel with alot of feedback.

I use CAE more than triaxis. CAE gives me more satisfaction.

Thanks for the input. I have been contemplating buying a CAE SE3. I have a Tri-Axis running through a VHT power amp, but you know how it is, always looking for the Holy Grail of tone. I have been happy with the Egnater amp I bought last month. Thanks again for the information.

I always like to use some effects on clean sounds. In this case I got chorus, dly & reverb (T.C. electronic G-force). But the triaxis has a great clean with or without any effects.
