@makeitabud1 see theres where your wrong buddy, jus because it has nothing done to the motor dont mean shit, it has 4.56 gears on the front and back and a corperate 14 bolt rear end with lockers. i do have a cold air intake and a hypertech programmer. so next time you go commenting on someones shit, know what your talking about..my cousins truck has no intake, no programmer, 10 bolt rear end with limited slip, and 3.73 gears, with 31 inch tires vs my 38.5's. ur a damn idiot.
that truck brings back memories for me i had one just like it. i put a 383 in it 35" toyo mt, 5-speed nv4500 tranny. then i got to having to much fun and put the shinny side down. but i got another one in the works now lol.

@wylierebel if u want a good tires you should get some mickey thopson baja claws, or either nitto mud graps, both are amazing!!! i gotta duramax now, i put 35 nitto mud graps on it, and its greats, still got the z71 tho, cant get rid of it.
@aildrules I like the Mickey Thompson's but I've heard a lot of bad things about grapplers, bad highway wear & bad in mud supposedly. I'm pretty satisfied with my Mud King M/T's but I'm gonna switch to Pro-Comp M/T's.

@wylierebel well the graps do wear kinda fast, but they look and sound soooo sweet on the road, and my cuz put 33's graps on his stock z71 in the video and he went threw a hole i got stuck in, so they are good in mud lol but ill get some vids of the dmax on here.
@aildrules sounds good man, let me know how long they last (mileage wise), i heard if you do a lot of road drivin then they only last about 2 years.. My Mud King MT's have lasted quite a while, they'll be 4 years in August, which is amazing for mud tires, but they've been bald since january of this year haha
@wylierebel will do man, well i had a 99 new body style z71 with a 6 inch lift and 35 Micky Thompson baja claws that prolly lasted bout 3 years and still had 1/4 tread on them, but i wrecked the truck(flipped it) and it got alll messed up, so yeah heart breakin lol only bad thing bout the baja claws is i had to pay 1200 dollars for 315x75R16's and its bout the same for nittos, tires are jus too expensive, but them baja claws was prolly the best tire ive ever had in the mud.
@apblackhawk12 yeah, my buddy has 3:73 rear end, just like me, he's got 36.5x14.50x18, he blew out his, my other buddy has the same setup but he wanted to use the 36.5's, not even a week later his rear end blew out.
@moto899: bout 1200 for suspension lift, 250 for body lift, bout 2000 for good rims abd tires, then labor to put it all on, so bout 3500 unless u get used stuff.

did you put that herculiner on the truck to stop the cab corner rusting or just for looks either way it a nice truck an i like the lift? but i was just wondering cause pretty much all the chevy truck rust in that area, i have a 93 and it's starting to get bad, i like they way it looks anyway an i may do it to mine even if it dont help, but i was just wonderin if that was maybe why you did it and if it works.

yea man i would agree with ya bout the body lift and kinda do but i don't think they look that bad if the truck has a big good size supension lift and a very small amount of body lift, but a body lift is pretty much pointless in any case because it serves no purpose, that too is also just my opinion.
