HotSwap the discs.

Go to settings>Console>Auto Run = >>OFF<<

Put in real disc, press Y. (There should be info about the game)

Now, (BE CAREFUL) Pull out your DVD drive manually.

Put in modded disc.

Install to HDD.

@megaman83ful i had this problem when ripping games, basically your dvd drive knows when you do the emergency eject thing, so either try a different drive or use an external one, or do what i did which is to get an external xbox 360 hd dvd drive and take the lid off and when you press stop on wx ripper you can literally take the dvd out and swap it for your game disc and then hit play and do the rest as normal.
