@23Prospero37 She was a whore who initially slept her way to her first roles and went on to sleep with everyone of her co stars... Stay classy San diego.
I've been checking back for the whole video for over a year and a half. Does no one have the entire interview? I ought to buy a Netflix account I guess to find the rest. Is it hidden somewhere on youtube?
She has a wicked sense of humor... brilliant, fascinating woman... intelligent, interesting, straight forward and not much of a censor... she's REAL... I love that!
OH MY GOD CATE BLANCHET NAILED PLAYING HER! She's a Taurus and so is Blanchet. I'm only familiar with her due to her relationship with Howard Hughes. Watching The Aviator, which is NOT a hyped up Hollywood exaggeration, but a staggeringly accurate biopic on his life, more so his early days. She seemed to understand him well. Howard was a capricorn so they were both earth signs. I don't know why I'm saying this.
It would be nice to have this interview in full in some sort of sequence. Shame about the tedious agitprop, whoever 'Mann' may be, he's of no interest whatsoever to me.
AAAAAAAAAAAHHH ALL THIS ROMAN NUMBERS CONFUSE ME SO MUCH I HAVE TO USE MY BRAIN ITS ALL MIXED UP WHY COULDNT YOU JUST HAVE PUTH NORMAL NUMBERS ON THE TOP
I understand and respect her talent, her mystique and how she fascinates people, and she surely was a talker, but for some reason she just grates against me. She is very brash, very ballsy, often too blunt for her own good to the point of rudeness. So, personally I've found the entire interview (of which I've seen all parts from I to XV) quite grating.
An absolute timeless classic! There has never been nor will there ever be someone close to Katherine Hepburns amazing acting talent! Love her films and the book she wrote called, "Me"
I never really could get past her attitude and personality. I love her as an actress, but when I see her do interviews...she comes off as a bit...demanding, for lack of a better word. Bette Davis and Katharine Hepburn have a very well disciplined and intriguing approach to their work compared to everyone else, especially from our era, the contemporary era. But Bette Davis is easily likeable to me. I just can't seem to warm up to Kath. But I'm sure she was a very nice and amazing woman.
@chilvari Dick said that she was one of his fave interviewees - I can see why, yes she might be direct, but you can talk and talk with her - no awkward silences, plus she is charming, and treats him like a younger brother, but that's nice isn't it? she is a raconteur, unlike a lot of these guests who won't say anything.
I just love her - her "baked potato" common sense as I THINK she might have called it - her CHARACTER - was so wonderful - personal responsibility - hard work - great energy - happy nature - and always did what was needed to achieve her goals - I wish I was more like her.
love this interview. but seems odd she would say she 'flew out to minneapolis' as if we say in the 21st century flying is so common. that would have been 1928 and there was i presume precious little flying about anywhere....makes me wonder.
@alecs1976 Completely agree with you. One can look elegant by virtue of genetics (which she did), but one can not be elegant, as she clearly is not, sitting like that. Watch the interview with Gloria Swanson to see real elegance.
@23Prospero37 Yeah she is really elegant sitting like a truck driver during a nationally televised interview. Im guessing you must think cut off jeans are formal wear as well.
without question she has got to be the most annoying person ever !!!!!

@flycentro123 She had a type of class that you couldn't even hope to aspire to if you dragged yourself up from the slime you came from.

@flycentro123 Quite annoying. The stories are interesting, but she would not let Cavett get a word in edgewise.

@TheTubePortal Part of the reason it's so grating is probably because we have to see it by irksome excerpt.
