Are both beds allowed to be lofted and is one bed always lofted...or do u have to choose it that way?

Which dorm is this? Is that dark wood shelf above your roommate's bed a built-in shelf that comes with the room?

it's in hecht - pentland floor 5

the dark shelf is actually a part of a cushion that runs along the bed so you dont hit the wall- you can either leave them on and lift them up for storage or remove them

Cool! Thanks so much for the reply/info!!! Five more quick questions (I promise): Are you allowed to... 1) Hang a curtain on the window? 2) Replace the brown folding closet door with a curtain? 3) Bring in your own desk/chair? 4) Use decals like "Wall Pops" (that can be removed/won't damage walls) to decorate?

Lastly... Is the nook on your roommate's side (where the pink chair is) on both sides? I can't see that part of your side due to the loft bed.

1) yes =)

2) you can push the doors all the way back and use a tension rod to hang curtains- ive seen some people do this and it looks really good

3) you can bring your own chair but the desk isn't removable- it and the shelf are built in, along with the dresser

4) as long as you thoroughly clean the walls at the end of the semester

oh thats not a nook, lol, those are just pillows on her bed
