Hi there. Keuring is a Dutch word that basically means "inspection". We use the word here too. Friesians are inspected by Dutch judges as weanlings and again at 3 years or older. They are inspected against a breed standard and the results go permanently on their papers. It is not as big a deal as a baby, but it is a big deal as a 3+ year old. Thanks for commenting on Cori, his mum. I have raised Cori since she was born and she is a lovely, sweet mare. Good mom too! I really love that mare. I am very proud of her - she went 1st premie at her keuring as a 3 year old. I have some other videos of her on youtube too...
