I understand that you all have really high hall spirit and all that, but really, why choose to belittle and step on another hall's work instead of rejoicing and taking pride in your own hall's work? Celebrate the fact that you all presented awesome performances! Or is winning all you care about? I've done Law Fac float for two years running, and I'm in it for the fun, the friendship, the camaraderie... not some shiny trophy that doesn't mean nuts. Grow up, really. Thanks.

Hmm after reading the comments about outsourcing and all, I only have this to say:

Seriously. Even if they had not outsourced the inner frame, but built only the outer texturing so the main float looked similar but remained stationary throughout the entire performance, it wouldn't have made a difference - they'd still have won. They didn't win because of the inner frame. The outsourcing had much less to do with their win than what is being bruited around.

I am of the strongest conviction that the designers of the floats are students and should we wish to draw the line for rag, then I suppose we can say the same for Flag and everything else that follows? How bout copyright issues, manpower regulations as well as libel and slander laws? Should we play such cards as well?

I hope you understand the effort and time put into rag and flag isn't something very simple.

Before posting anything vitriolic anywhere and anytime, kindly keep in mind proper relations between our halls. By posting in public spaces, you aren't doing your JCRC or your hall raggers proud by displaying such puerility.

omg your english is really a joke. outsourcing a float means that the whole float is done by a private contractor, whereas making only the frame with the design given by the designers is a different thing.

i wonder which hall are you from, there must be a lot more sore losers like you in it.

Steady lar EH Raggers, you all really stand out.. Watched through all other halls' float and presentation.. wondering why there are so many faculties float..

I would say the overall standard of Rag have rise again this year with more faculties coming out with full floats and KE7 with one of the biggest float ever in Rag..not to forget Sheares who brought in lighting effects to Rag..Rag Day is meant for all Halls and their residents to enjoy..the day where you'll see each Hall resident showing their outmost spirit to their respective Halls..I'm sure everyone have enjoyed a good time in Rag this year..which I think is of most important..
