You missed the point of that parable. Luke 18:1-8 is a contrast, not a representation of God. Jesus is saying that since the judge is unjust (and God isn't), he (the judge) needs to be badgered. IN CONTRAST to God who doesn't need to be badgered day and night by prayer. God is a just judge who doesn't need to be pressured into doing what is right.

You quoted James 5:16 out of context. Fervent doesn't mean "a lot of". 5:15-20 puts it in context. Elias prayed once each time.

  • and just not to confuse, in James 5:17, praying "earnestly" doesn't mean praying a lot either. Just go look up what the word means and you'll see.

  • Excellent word!

  • .... this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’” ......7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly

lol read the rest of the passage --- "HOWEVER, when the son of man comes, will He find faith on the earth?"

It takes no faith to 'cry out day and night'.

  • His theology is flawed, I like that he is preaching we need to pray in faith and our efforts dont impress but he needs balance. Andrew needs to balance unbelief with ***Its the effectual fervernt prayer that avails much.***

  • its good to see other people posting Andrew and getting the word out there.

  • Good stuff.

  • Such power in this teaching---------

He did it all-------we are the redeemed of the Lord!
