The theory is that it's ADVANTAGEOUS to DECREASE the population until conditions improve. So homosexuality may be Nature's way to control the population, and help SAVE the species during a crisis. Fact is, overpopulation is a bigger problem than underpopulation.

In some of the older ones things like sex, drugs, and masturbation, were ritualized and celebrated. Violence was used to promote the glory of their diety (and still is). Why do you find violence enjoyable? It was only about 4K years ago when the concept of absolute good and evil developed.

One comment I have, gender identity may actually happen after conception, but still in the womb. My twin sister is gay, I am not, there is absolutely no doubt in either of our minds about this. Genetics can lead to the brain changes you talk about, but hormone variations in the womb can also and it can explain things like our case. Still amounts to people being born gay.

This helped the species survive because it could remember and avoid dangers. When that collection of cells continued growing these stored memories became more complex, and there was consiousness. And this helped us survive even more, so it continued to develope. The time scale about 3.5 billion years since single cell life.

This has a very misleading title. I have been a fan of Bill for only a little while now but it’s obvious to even me that from what I have seen him say in other interviews he is a supporter of gay rights and same sex marriage. As others have said its obvious what Bill means by what he says, his making fun of those who call it a sin when it’s not.

Whoever made this video, you should just be embarrassed if you thought he meant "Homosexual Behavior is More than Just a Sin." What a stupid interpretation. Firstly, if you've ever watched Maher, you know that he doesn't believe it's a "sin" at all (or that "sin" even exists). Second, what he means is that certain public figures use the concept of "sin" to cover up the fact that they are homosexuals. These people are trying to act like "the devil" makes them do things, when clearly they are gay.

Why don't you use common sense, logic and some facts? Who said anything about everyone being gay? If everyone was celibate, the species would end. Do some research on the hormonal research of Doerner. There are hints that gay births may increase in times of environmental stress, i.e. famine, drought. The theory is that it's ADVANTAGEOUS to DECREASE the population until conditions improve. So homosexuality may be Nature's way to control the population, and help SAVE the species during a crisis. Fact is, overpopulation is a bigger problem than underpopulation.

If you havent noticed, most things that are enjoyable are sins to most religions.
For example: Drugs, Sex, Masturbating, Violence. So what I think is, that religious people made homosexuality a sin because they're all secretly gay and just feel embarressed. (I am not Gay, or Religious) So HA to all you ignorant Christian assholes.

In some of the older ones things like sex, drugs, and masturbation, were ritualized and celebrated. Violence was used to promote the glory of their diety (and still is). Why do you find violence enjoyable? It was only about 4K years ago when the concept of absolute good and evil developed.
