well if your father plays that makes sense, but I always see mediocre guitarist on youtube who have $3000 guitars its like wtf? Then you see guys who absolute rip a guitar up and have a$200 guitar. I think beginers should get low end guitars, kinda stupid to buy a high quality guitar most likely by rich parents. I think beginers think that the more expensive the guitar the better you will sound...not the case. In your case I get it.
