Guys get a G&L guitar instead of a Fender! G&L's are actually made by Leo and alongside being cheaper, they sound more like a strat then a strat does!

Because he's always playing with a lot of distortion. I don't like them for heavy rock music. IMO they should be played clean, or with a nice bluesy tube overdrive.
@sleepy4x It's because he is not very good, and he has way too much gain and other crap running through his amp, I bet he has at least 10 pedals he's got going.
the highway one is much better than the new american standard. the highway one strat has more tone versatility and better sustain than the american standards. love alnico III pickups that are in my 2007 highway ones. the highway one is simply brilliant!
Nice sustain...man I find it hard to hear the diff with a les paul, i know its blasphemy but i really cant tell the difference with that ammount over distortion :S

I don't like the demos with this guy. I can not really say why, because he plays well. But some kind of lifeless and the guitars sound the same.
When I see the demos with Ludo, what a difference!
The fender guy has no blues and no real feeling in his playing.

I fell in love with a Highway #1 Telecaster, but I ended up with the American Standard because it sounded better to me anyway
