@progforcefield I post over on The La's forum, and it's 'common knowledge' pretty much that he did have dental work done, I believe it came from a close source to the band. It could effect your voice, if it hurts to move your mouth/sing. A few people think the band were under rehearsed (especially Jasper on drums who replaced Nick Miniski after just one gig) and that the 2005 gigs we're a bit 'ramshackle'. The recent gigs Mavers has been playing seem to be a return to form.
I saw them at the Exeter Lemon Grove around the time of this single and they played this song 3 feckin times during the set!--> start, middle and encore lol
@cupovtean1suga in 2005, Lee had surgery on his teeth, affecting his voice etc. The Glastonbury performance shows this pretty much. The Japan festival was pretty much the best performance of the tour
