You are entitled to your opinion soldier, but you are incorrected in your interpretation of what Huckabee stated. Last time I checked, the soldier has no say so where they go. When they CHOOSE to sign up to serve, they are gov.property and can't control where they are placed in battle. Huckabee was simply stating that even through the gov. mistakes, the soldiers should still be held in high regard for their service to our country and send them home the right way. As far as I know, a soldier serving their country knows that they have a chance of dying in service to it. From prior experience (5 1/2 years army time) I observed that the opinions of the mass lower enlisted and lower ranking officers are mostly in disagreement to what their 4-star General is saying. When those troops (in comparison to hnarez1) come home, they ALL need to say whats on their mind. Only then will the people of this country know what is going on, in comparison to what is told to them through the media.

I'm right with you solider. As a civilian, I'm also taking the oath to up hold up and defend the Constitution of the United States instead saying the Pledge of Allegiance.
Most people don't know about the War in Iraq is that Congress never voted to go to war.
March 2003, HR 114 under Section 3 (a) states that Congress gave up their prerogative to Declare war to the President to use Military force against Iraq.
Bring our Troops home from everywhere because we will eventually run out of money.

You are entitled to your opinion soldier, but you are incorrected in your interpretation of what Huckabee stated. Last time I checked, the soldier has no say so where they go. When they CHOOSE to sign up to serve, they are gov.property and can't control where they are placed in battle. Huckabee was simply stating that even through the gov. mistakes, the soldiers should still be held in high regard for their service to our country and send them home the right way. With honor and victory.

Sure, soldiers take an oath to defend the the United States, and I believe they do that no matter where they are at. You say a soldier can't do their job dead. As far as I know, a soldier serving their country knows that they have a chance of dying in service to it. Again, I'm on the side of the soldier in that they deserve respect and honor for their service to America while under the command of a government who alot of times does a diservice to its soldiers and the American people.

A well placed argument. And IMO:
1)The soldiers who are fighting for our country don't need to "fight for honor," for they already earned it once they stepped into that battlefield.
2)As for the US having "honor," America has lost its honor in the eyes of nearly all of its former allies. The only ones who still like us are those who are profiting from us like China and Saudi Arabia.
In any case, keep fighting for our country and keep in view the real terrorists: the politicians.

Right and check this: people say that we should stay in because 'we bought it' which means we have to clean up our mess. That sounds okay, but how do we clean up a mess with guns and bombs? If we really wanted to help this country, then we wouldn't have guns right now. All soldiers are family. When the soldiers start talking, people need to listen. From prior experience (5 1/2 years army time) I observed that the opinions of the mass lower enlisted and lower ranking officers are mostly in disagreement to what their 4-star General is saying. When those troops (in comparison to hnarez1) come home, they ALL need to say whats on their mind. Only then will the people of this country know what is going on, in comparison to what is told to them through the media.

this guy's great. Ron Paul is amazing, and I hope to God he will get the nomination. Even if he doesn't, he has planted a seed that will slowly grow and branch out to create freedom in our country. The revolution is now.

Ron Paul received more than 3 times more than any other candidate. Ron Paul received about 150,000 from the military and McCain comes in second with about 40,000. I would say, that this is a DIRECT endorsement in support of Dr. Paul. Wake up people!

This is from one soldier to another. I have 3 tours in Iraq, screw fobbits or any other worthless admin ppl. But progress? Seriously in 3-4 more years show me more progress... because there won't be. We are stagnate and have been since OIF 2 or maybe 3 if you are talking about infrastructor. When we get more and more insurgents who are on the IP payroll and that number keeps going up then that sure as shit is not progress.
