By the way does anyone have the song by Shirley Abicare "little boy fishing off a wooden pier" circa 1955

  • Saturday mornings and uncle Mac for chilren everywhere what treasured days and memories

  • Remember this from my childhood, brilliant, thanks for posting.

  • So glad you posted this on youtube,my dad would play this when I was a child too, I don't know what happened to his record must have got lost or broken.

I have a pile of 78's in my loft that need a good home..contact me if your interested.

  • My dad had this very 78 in his collection, and played it regularly when I was a small child - it's indelibly imprinted upon my memory,. Strangely, those memories, formed in the late 60s, are from Northern England, and I never found out how dad acquired his taste for Americana like this.

But I love this record, and it will always remind me of my dear departed father. Thanks for posting!
