I've noticed a lot of people on here are nostalgic and wish for bands that are a lot like the bands that were popular when Fenix TX came out...I agree, bands like Mayday Parade and All Time Low don't cut it...I thought All Time Low's EP was pretty good, and Mayday Parade's EP and first album had some good songs too...but I just like bands like Set Your Goals and Four Year Strong a lot more...the one band I've found that is similar to this sound is Farewell

I've heard that the more melodic pop punk kinda songs of the "Lechuza" album were written by vocalist Will Salazar (like "Phoebe Cates", "Tearjerker", "A Song for Everyone"), while the other portion consisted of songs from other members who wanted to go more in a hardcore direction (probably "Beating a Dead Horse", "Something Bad is Gonna Happen" amongst others).

I think that's what makes the album quite incoherent. I usually tend to skip the more aggressive songs.
