@jonhickey. Hey, Thanks for posting this video. It's a much better perspective than just pictures that the internet provides. How hot is the water there? Does it get hotter the further back into the cave you go?
@ryansuperbee Welcome! It was a really fun trip. There are different water temperatures. That little pool you see me in outside the cave wasn't very hot. It felt like a warm pool. The cave water was much warmer (102-105 degrees) and the water definitely gets hotter the further back in the cave you go. I wish I could have taken some shots inside the cave, but it was too dark and the steam probably would have ruined my camera. :)
Yeah, it was 20 miles round trip this summer. Wash outs in the winter of 2009 took out the bridge 10 miles out from springs. Quite an adventure!
