What's your rating in the Augury (fortune teller)?
Usually about 4? to really secure the general direction of the strategy, and then I always make a couple of changes to make it more efficient with trading and movement and stuff. Sometimes it takes more because my first idea just doesn't work, but lately I can usually get a very clear idea of how to finish the chapter after my first try.

Even with growths, I never bothered to go to the shop in this chapter because of uber-spear Vaida.
At least you have Pent now, who I will imagine will be doing a lot of good for you in the upcoming chapters.
