@MADWORLD1427 Thx for replying so quickly! I thought so.. but it's maybe a fast version then? Cause when she was dancing in the movie we could here some funny noises in the music where she danced with her ass etc in a comical way. And I can't find it immediately here. But I can be wrong of course!! ^^
Anyway I can use it.. cause I need it for an act :p
Absolutely Perfect in Every Way!!! Your timing & music...You out do yourself every time my friend!!! p.s. if you are diversifying your portfolio, check out this funny stuff.) For your current project, I am sure you will find the perfect song!)
FANTASTIC in every way! Craig, thanks for making such superb and entertaining vids for all of us to enjoy here on YT! Thumbs up alwayzzzzzz, Lady E --[--@
@MADWORLD1427 I'm sure it will be great, hope you find it :) Boy, I'd like to see it with White Rabbit all the way through, I think it would pair up wonderfully (especially the beginning), but it might be a little too "1st idea" (but if it works, it works, as I say). 2.5 mins is a little short though, but your bookends are always awesome..oh man, I would so use the dialogue from the tub scene as a wraparound...anyways, I'm sure you'll knock it out of the park as always!
I love Bob Fosse, your tribute is fabulous with this music , it's a true Bob Fosse there in your vid ! Totally agree with other enthusiastic comments here......Bravo Craig !
Highly impressive clip you have created here. Got me all excited to watch a movie. I am on vacation this week so that is what I will be doing a lot of. PEACE!
.....A director who made musicals that people who do not like musicals love..I even think there was a figure of him in The Simpsons.....the magic of his work is sprinkled all over your tribute.
Craig, I was already aware of your talent right away. But I must reiterate my compliments because they deserve it! This video is just perfect! Enjoyable, fun, exciting!! A editing studied carefully! Music that reflects well the film by Bob Fosse. "Cabaret" as well as winning the Oscar is included among the best 25 films of AFIA, along with "All That Jazz". A splendid work that deserves to be added to the playlist!
This is a three and a half minute musical masterpiece. It's fun to watch, has not one moment that isn't riveting and the audio is a real delight! I had to add it to my favorites. -Michael
All of Fosse's best facets and chief characteristics are represented here: Fosse the innovative choreographer, Fosse the genius film director, Fosse the editor who seemed to have every shot in his head because they all fit so seemlessly together though we the audience never saw the surprises coming. But they did keep coming. When Fosse's name appeared in the credits of a film, you knew you were in the hands of a master. Some of these are among the best films ever made! Very good video, Craig!
By the way, after seeing the way you know exactly when to enter a different scene to be in sync to the song, let me remind you that since 1987 there is an urgent need of a chreographer. Interested? I know that you love musicals.
Nothing can be compared (in myopinion) to Sweet Charity. All the others were wonderful, mainly Lenny and Cabaret (and, of course, All That Jazz) but Sweet Charity is unforgettable. The incredible coreography of the Big Spender and the end when she sees that all her life was worthless but she receives flowers... It is lyric. If the Beatles had something to do with it, I would say that it is a magycal mistery tour.
A wonderful montage, Craig! It was a perfect tribute to Fosse. His work is unlike any others. He brought talent and humor to both the stage and (thankfully) the screen, which always brings out smile for me. 5***
Speaking of Cabaret, I've been dying to take a crack at that as a standalone, I've been on a HUGE Cabaret kick lately (just got some orginal lobby cards from it off ebay this week, oddly enough, and grabbed the soundtrack off Amazon a couple weeks ago) but haven't found "the" song yet. Very happy to see it here!
Super Nice!! We were both working on director's this weekend I see! The Little Prince is the gift that keeps on giving, isn't it? Did you get the plan to do Fosse after grabbing the Wilder clips? That's how I tend to jump from one idea to the next...my Gilliam one started after a dream theme idea got back burnered, and I had still had Tideland fresh in my head after checking out the train crash at the end for my last video.
amazing video of an amazing, amazing man!
